Trouble shooting procedure at Remote site
Step1. Check the ECP FW version
If it is not the correct version, please update it.
Step2. Remote reset the RRH by LSM command “INIT-RRH;”
• Alarm cleared : no action
* If alarm occurs again at the same port later, visit the site and trouble shoot with On site manual
• Not cleared : Visit the Site
Trouble shooting procedure On site (1/2)
Step1. Hard reset the RRH connected to the issued port
• Alarm cleared : Swap DU/RU end SFP/CPRI between sectors and monitor if problem reappear.
* If alarm occurs again at the same port later, visit the site again and trouble shoot with On site manual
• Alarm is Not cleared : move next step
Step2. Check the site state
- Rectifier RRH power switch is turned ON
- RRH power LED is ON
- RRH power cable is fastened or disconnected/damaged.
- CPRI cable is fastened or disconnected/damaged

Step3. Cleaning the SFP and Optic Cable Connector both DU and RRH
• Alarm cleared: this alarm caused by dust pollution
• Alarm is Not cleared : move next step
※ When connecting an optical cable to the system, the performance of the system can be decreased
or failures can occur if the core section of an optical connector is dirty due to dust or foreign material.

Trouble shooting procedure On site (2/2)
Step4. Swap the CPRI cable and SFP between Issued port and Normal Port and check the alarm

1) SFP swap in channel card
• If the alarm shift along with the SFP, the SFP caused this alarm
• If the alarm persist on same port, move on to the next procedure
2) CPRI cable swap at DU
• If the alarm persist on same port, channel card caused this alarm
• If the alarm shift along with the CPRI cable, move on to the next procedure
3) SFP swap in RRH
• If the alarm shift along with the RRH SFP, RRH SFP caused this alarm
• If the alarm persist on same port, , move on to the next procedure
4) CPRI cable Swap at RRH
• If the alarm persist on same port, CPRI cable caused this alarm
• If the alarm shift along with the RRH, RRH caused this alarm and it need to RMA
