COLUMBA CATHOLIC CHURCH

SAN DIEGO

January 29, 2012 Fourth Sunday in Ordinary Time

Catholic Schools Week Jan. 29 - Feb. 3

Join us this Sunday at the 9:30 Mass as we kick off Catholic Schools Week!
Following the 9:30 Mass you are all invited to tour the school campus, visit classrooms, and meet the teachers. Visit the recently renovated school library located on the second story of the Ministry Center next to the computer lab. We also have a preschool currently accepting 4-5 year olds. Please invite any family or friends interested in Catholic education. Thank you for your support!

Plants in the Church

If, while in the church, you notice that a plant seems to be dry, please refrain from watering it. Some plants are being over-watered by visitors. We have a regular cleaning crew that waters the plants. Thank you for your cooperation!

Souper Bowl of Caring

Its that time of year again (Super Bowl Sunday) when the youth of our parish join with thousands of other youth across the country to collect donations for those who are hungry and hurting. The youth of St. Columba will be at the entrance of our church after all Masses next weekend holding soup pots to collect your donations. Can you imagine what a dollar from every person attending Mass next weekend could do to help the needy? The younger children will have boxes in their classrooms to collect non-perishable food items, packages of socks and toiletries to add to our donations for the needy. Please be generous and show your support for this great cause sponsored by the youth of St. Columba.
