Phase Timeline Key Activities

Phase 1: Preparation Day 1-5
- Prepare a comprehensive handover document.

Phase 2: Execution Day 6-15
- Finalize pending deliverables and submit them to PPD
leadership.
- Submit the formal transition memo summarizing

- Familiarize yourself with PRDD mandate, structure,
and workflows.

- Meet with GASS leadership to align on expectations.


Phase 3: Onboarding Day 16-20
- Schedule and hold an initial meeting with the PRDD
team.

- Review team roles, ongoing projects, and challenges.

- Develop and communicate a short-term work plan for


PRDD (next 3 months).

- Conduct individual consultations with PRDD team


members to build rapport and understand their needs.
Phase 4: Leadership Day 21-30
- Begin implementing quick wins (e.g., process
improvements, clearer task assignments).

- Prepare for a formal introduction of PRDD to


stakeholders and outline strategic priorities.
Outputs/Deliverables
- List of ongoing projects and tasks.

- Agreed plan with leadership on interim management.

- Successor identified.
- Drafted handover document outlining projects, contacts,
and workflows.

- Email or meeting minutes announcing the transition.

- Task delegation tracker (assignments and deadlines).

- Meeting notes with successor detailing processes and


challenges.

- Completed deliverables (e.g., reports, summaries).

- Transition memo submitted and acknowledged by


leadership.

- Orientation notes and alignment document with GASS


leadership.

- Meeting minutes and list of team strengths and


challenges.

- PRDD short-term work plan with goals, deliverables, and


timelines.
