Ivoclar Vivadent presents the smaller and handier version of the tried-and-tested bluephase curing light: bluephase style. Given the lights ergonomic shape and its low weight, bluephase style suits the hands of men and women. The bluephase style light, an ergonomic battery-operated LED polymerization light with an intensity of 1,100 mW/cm2, can be held either like a pen. Given the lights low weight and the balanced weight distribution, the strain exerted on the hand and arm is reduced, regardless of the size of the hand. A particularly handy feature is the shortened light probe tip, which allows for comfortable curing also in hard-to-reach posterior areas. Patients are thus no longer required to keep their mouths wide open. Thanks to the large diameter of 10 mm, the bluephase style is capable of completely covering large cavities, which renders time-consuming multiple curing cycles for MOD restorations unnecessary. The bluephase style light is equipped with a polywave LED, a technology developed by Ivoclar Vivadent specifically for dental applications. This LED offers a broad light spectrum ranging from 385 to 515 nm and is thus able to cure all OFF RRPs photoinitiators and materials. Furthermore, the Click&Cure function, i.e. the convenient change from battery to mains operation, offers the benefit of continuing to work even if the battery is empty.
