LCM and HCF
LCM and HCF
Least Common Multiple and Highest Common Factor.
Product of common and non common factors is LCM.
Find LCM of 12,15,50?
Factors of 12 = 2 * 2 * 3 Factors of 15 = 3 * 5
Factors of 50 = 2 * 5 * 5
Common Factors = 2 * 3 * 5 = 30 Non Common = 2 * 5 = 10
LCM = 30 * 10 = 300

5. Find the least length of rope which can be cut into whole number of pieces of length
45cm, 75cm and 81cm?
LCM and HCF
Least Common Multiple and Highest Common Factor.
Product of common factors only is HCF.
Find HCF of 12, 18 and 24?
Factors of 12 = 2 * 2 * 3 Factors of 24 = 2 * 2 * 2 * 3
Factors of 18 = 2 * 3 * 3
Common Factors = 2 * 3 = 6 HCF = 6
