12. Background / policy context and problem statement:
Identify the need or problem that this working visit would resolve. Specify and describe
the issue(s) in your organisation that could benefit from this working visit.
The Simplified Declaration Procedure through Entry in the Declarant’s Records (EIDR) is a
customs simplification measure that allows authorized economic operators to declare
goods by entering information directly into their commercial records. This procedure is
part of the broader framework of the Union Customs Code (UCC) in the European Union
(EU), aimed at facilitating trade, reducing administrative burdens, and speeding up
customs clearance processes.
This procedure is not yet in place in Turkey and we would like to learn about it in detail so
that we can start its implementation.
13. Identify the Annual Work Programme (AWP) project to which your working visit is
linked. Indicate only the code and the project title. The AWP projects are listed in a
separate document. Contact your national Working Visit Coordinator for advice. The
primary AWP reference is mandatory. You can identify a secondary AWP reference if

The main objectives of this research are to:

EU.

The results you expect to achieve and described under this section have to be directly
