Do I need a ChargePoint Account to use Shockwave ChargePoint chargers?
• Yes
• Users will need to set up a ChargePoint account. Using Shockwave email for the created
account is preferred to help identify requestor and creating a ChargePoint account is free.
Accounts must be created on ChargePoint which is available on both IOS & Android devices.
I already submitted a Shockwave EV Charging Policy & Guidelines waiver. Do I need to submit a new
one?
• Yes, a new waiver / Terms & Conditions needs to be completed. The wavier / terms &
condition will be completed through ChargePoint when requesting access to use Shockwave
EV stations.
How do I install the ChargePoint Application?
• The ChargePoint Application is available on Android and iOS devices. The application is
searchable as ChargePoint on the app store.

On the ChargePoint app do I need to submit connection code “SHOC7816” (Full-Caps) to use
Shockwave EV charging Stations?
• Yes, for new users and existing users, they will need to submit the connection code “SHOC7816” (Full-Caps)
o To enter the connection code on the app, login> Select Account> Select Connections>
Select Browse Connections> enter “ SHOC7816 ” & Search. Shockwave Medical Staff
Connection will be available for selection. Complete required information and agree
to both ChargePoint & Shockwave Terms & Conditions for use.
Once connection quote is submitted and terms and conditions completed, how long until access is issued to use
Shockwave ChargePoint Stations?
• 1-2 Business Days.
How do I charge through the application and who do I contact for questions or concerns regarding
ChargePoint Account?
• If you encounter any difficulties or require assistance with using the ChargePoint App for
charging, contact ChargePoint customer support at 1-888-758-4389
Who can sign up to use Shockwave ChargePoint Chargers?
• All Shockwave employees are eligible to sign up to use Shockwave EV Chargers through
ChargePoint App.

Is there a Fee to use Shockwave EV stations?
• Currently there is no fee charged by Shockwave to use the EV chargers, but we do have a policy
and guidelines for usage which are detailed in the Electric Vehicle Charging Policy & Guidelines.

• The Car Charging Station Policy & Guidelines are available on the Facilities Home page

How do I use a waitlist?
• When all charging spots are full, you can join the Waitlist in the ChargePoint app or by tapping your phone or
ChargePoint card at a station. You'll receive a notification when a spot becomes available, and ChargePoint
will hold it for you while you move your car.
• To receive notifications about your place in line, you must turn on notifications in the app.
