However, you will see more color depth in the program's graphics if you reset your display to this setting. Choose Settings from the computer's Start menu. Choose Control Panel. Double-click the Display icon. Click the Settings tab. In the Color Palette drop down menu, click the arrow to show more settings. Click True Color. Click Test. Click OK to run the test of these settings. Click Apply. Click OK. If the system asks if you want to restart your computer now to accept these settings, click Yes. You may wish to repeat these steps to reset your monitor to its original configuration when you are finished with the exercises. -------------------------------------------------HOW TO RESET YOUR MONITOR FOR 640x480 DISPLAY The quiz program may take up only a portion of the middle of your screen. If you prefer to have the program fill the screen, you may wish to reset your monitor's desktop area to 640x480 from a larger setting. You can easily restore your monitor's original settings when you are finished with the exercises. IT IS NOT NECESSARY TO RESIZE THE MONITOR TO RUN THIS PROGRAM Choose Settings from the computer's Start menu. Choose Control Panel. Double-click the Display icon. Click the Settings tab. Under Desktop Area, move the slider until it shows 640x480. Click Test and click OK to run the test of this setting. Wait 5 seconds for the colored bars to disappear, and then click Apply.

Click OK. -------------------------------------------------HOW TO INSTALL THE PROGRAM Double-click the "My Computer" icon on the Windows desktop. Then double-click the CD-ROM drive icon. It will be labeled "D:\Comp Review for NCLEX-RN 2e" (Your drive letter may be different than D) Double-click the Setup.exe icon to launch the Install program. YOU ONLY HAVE TO PERFORM THIS SET UP INSTALLATION ONCE. After installation, you must place the CD-ROM in the drive each time you run the program. -------------------------------------------------HOW TO RUN THE PROGRAM Insert the Installer CD ROM into the drive. THE INSTALLER CD MUST BE PRESENT FOR THE PROGRAM TO RUN Double click the icon on the desktop labeled "Comprehensive Review for NCLEX-RN, 2e" OR: select "Comprehensive Review for NCLEX-RN, 2e" from the START menu.
