Q1 a. To: Subject : Feedback Performance Appraisal Process. Dear Colleagues, As you might have already been informed we are in the process of implementing a new performance evaluation procedures. The new performance appraisal process is expected to have the following salient features. a. As per the new system supervisors & managers would not only be evaluated by their own supervisors but also receive feedback from their peers and subordinates. b. Once the above process is completed the HR Manager shall discuss the results with the manager and identify discrepancies. c. On the identification of these weaknesses HR Manager shall enable the employee to work on those weak areas. d. The new system is not intended to replace the existing system but enhance it. Moreover, the feedback received at different stages shall not be documented either. However, it has been brought to our notice that the proposed procedure is being assumed to be resistant to teamwork. We seek feedback from all of you in this regard and how shall we approach its effective implementation. We also welcome suggestions which might help us improve the above specified procedure. I personally feel that Casual dress day policy might encourage sloppiness at work.
