For other condensing temperatures, multiply carrying capacity values by the Example:
following correction factors: Suction line needs to be sized for an ‘Apex Cold Stores’ freezer, with the condensing unit 12 metres from the evaporator.
The condensing unit’s refrigerating capacity is approximately 8700 watts at −35°C suction. There are eight bends, and one
angle valve (crankcase pressure regulator) and one globe valve.
Condensing temperature
1. An estimate must be made as to the probable line size to permit equivalent lengths to be made. Reference to Table 3
