Results of GANIT UTKARSHA XADHAN PARIKSHA, 2024

The Results of GANIT UTKARSHA XADHAN PARIKSHA, 2024 organised by Assam Academy
of Mathematics, Golaghat Branch declared today (2 December, 2024) at 8:30 pm. In each class category, the
top 3 Performer’s (Rank Holder’s) will get a Cash Prize of Rs. 3000/-, Rs. 2000/- and Rs. 1500/- respectively
along with certificates, books and a memento. The next top 4% will get a Certificate of Merit and books, and
the next 6% will get a Certificate of Appreciation. The Rank Holders and Merit Certificate Holders will also
get a chance to attend some workshops on Mathematics which will be organized by AAM, Golaghat Branch
throughout the years.
The preparation of rankings based on the following Rules (already published along with the exam
syllabus):
Candidates getting higher marks get higher ranks. If there is a tie i.e., two candidates score the same
marks, then the candidates with higher marks obtained in Group – B, will be given a better rank. If the tie still
remains unresolved, then the candidates with higher marks obtained in Group – C, will be given a better rank.
If the tie still remains unresolved, then the candidates with less wrong answers in Group – B, will be given a
better rank. If the tie still remains unresolved, then the candidates with less wrong answers in Group – C, will
be given a better rank. In case the tie is still not resolved, then both the candidates will be given the same
rank.

2. Number of participants in class VI: 617
3. Number of participants in class VII: 605
4. Number of participants in class VIII: 561
5. Number of participants in class IX: 562
6. Number of participants in class X: 503
7. Total Number of participants: 3248
8. Number of exam centres: 33
9. Number of Districts: 07

The Prize distribution ceremony will be held on 22 December, 2024 at Doyang Senior Secondary School,
Merapani.
The OMR sheets were evaluated on the basis of the following Answer Keys where a person/candidate can
found a few changes in the previous two Answer Keys published on 24 November, 2024 and 25 November,
2024.
