Course Description

The subject aims at enhancing students' knowledge about multiple dimensions of Pakistan including history, culture,
economics, geography etc. It provides an insight into the political, economic, and social history of Pakistan from its
inception. The course introduces the various aspects of the political struggle that led to the creation of Pakistan.
Besides the course emphases on the constitutional development with special focus on the constitution of 1973 and its
various amendments. It also examines the concepts of nationhood and patriotism in the light of present-day
circumstances.
