Creating Choice Life Coaching

Collapsed Anchoring

 Get client to think of a time when they were happy and elicit all the submodalities
from the image by talking about what is there with the client. If the client is
disassociated get them to associate themselves into the image, tweak submodalities
to make the image as compelling as they like. Anchor feeling by pressing the left
hand shoulder of the client.

 Repeat this process x 2 and break.

 Get client to think of a situation where they hold negative feeling, resentment,
frustration, annoyance or hurt, bitterness, shame, fear, elicit submodalities by
discussion of details in the image, if disassociated, associate client into the image,
notice submodalities. Anchor feeling by pressing the right hand shoulder of the
client.

 Repeat this process x 2 and break.

 Press the right hand shoulder of client and take your hand and begin to press the
left hand shoulder of client.

 Press both shoulders firmly and slowly.

 Take hand away from the clients right hand shoulder whilst leaving your hand
squeezing the left hand shoulder of the client.

 If this was successful it will have erased the feeling attached to the negative
situation. Check ecology in all cases. If client has attachment to certain
submodalities you may not be successful.
