Using unless
If and unless are conditional conjunctions.
Look at the examples:
If you study, you will pass your exam.
You will pass your exam if you study.
Unless you study, you won’t pass your exam.
You won’t pass your exam unless you study.
Note: unless = if not
We don’t use will/would after ‘unless’. We only use the present simple tense.
