Speaking final exam

Important
1. Which activities or tasks do we absolutely need to use AI devices for-
things that cannot be done without AI?
- Language translation, advanced data analysis, design, medical diagnosis
2. What AI-related activities do you like doing? Are there any activities that
you dislike using AI devices for?
- Like: practicing english speaking skills (The activity I like to use AI for is
practicing my English speaking skills. I don’t have a partner to practice
with, so I need someone who can listen and correct my mistakes. That’s
why AI is a suitable tool for this.)
Well, to be honest, I don't have a friend to study with, so I like using an
AI device to practice my English speaking skills. It is convenient and
efficient because it helps me check my mistakes and tells me what’s
wrong. Then, it suggests improvements to make my speech better.
- Dislike: I dislike using AI for activities that require deep emotional
understanding and creativity such as drawing, designing, and creative
writing, because it can take away the originality and personal touch that
make human work unique.
3. Consider the possible dangers of widespread use of AI. What should
societies avoid using AI for?
- I think we should avoid using AI for the field of education, many students
tend to rely on AI to do their homework or solve problems instead of
brainstorming to find solutions. This is extremely dangerous for their
brains, especially when they are at a crucial stage of development, as it
may hinder/setbacks their ability to think critically.
4. Some people have decided to quit using AI devices in some situations-
eg..posting to social media, using GPS maps, and doing banking online.
Does such a decision make sense? Why or why not?
- Well.. I think deciding to quit using AI devices in certain situations can be
reasonable depending on the personal preferences. However, for me, it
may not make sense because AI greatly/significantly
improves/enhances/boosts convenience and efficiency. Without using AI,
it could take more time to complete tasks.
5. Do you think AI as smart as human?
- AI can be incredibly / extremely/ remarkably"smart" in certain areas,
such as processing large amounts of data, recognizing patterns, or
performing . repetitive tasks with high efficiency. However, AI lacks
human qualities like emotions, intuition, and the ability to understand
context in a deeply complex way. In short, whether AI is smarter than
humans depends on many parts of life.
Should practice
Taking risk:
1. What are some risks that people take? Why do they take them?
- People take different types of risks, such as career risks, financial risks, or
social risks, for various reasons. Some believe that taking risks can boost
confidence and resilience, while others seek the thrill. Although risks can
sometimes lead to negative outcomes, they are often seen as essential for
achieving goals, personal growth, and a fulfilling life.
2. What kind of risks do peole take that are primarily for personal benefit?
What risks do people take for the benefit of others
- Some people take risks for personal gain like starting a business, chasing
a dream, or moving to a new country. Others take risks for the greater
good—firefighters saving lives, doctors fighting diseases.
3. Are you a person who often takes risks? Do you think what will change?
- Yes, I do. I've faced different types of risks in my life. The thing I think
has changed is that I am more confident than before, and I know how to
solve problems and find solutions. Besides that, I have learned how to
calm down when facing challenges, which makes me stronger.
4. Name some risks you have taken? What outcomes did you hope for? Did
you or they get those outcomes?
- I took a risk in choosing my major. At that time, I hoped it would bring
me happiness and success. Thankfully, I achieved both, gaining
confidence and valuable experience along the way.
Neurology:
1. Give some examples of things in your daiy life that use AI
- I use ChatGPT in learning every day to improve my English speaking
skills and practice writing, it helps me checks my mistakes, expand my
vocabulary, and even generate ideas. I use it to ask questions about
various topics, making learning more efficient. And the best part is, while
doing all this, I don’t need to pay any costs.
2. If AI systems take over a lot of jobs from humans, will that be a good
thing?
Can money buy happiness?
1. How much money do you think people really need in order to be happy?
Explain.
- The amount of money needed for happiness depends on the person. but
happiness often comes from relationships and meaningful experiences.
2. Do you think more money would make you happier? Why or why not?
- Having more money can provide financial stability and better
opportunities, but it doesn't necessarily make you happy. True happiness
often comes from relationships, personal fulfillment, and pursuing
passions. Money can improve life, but it’s not the only factor.
3. Choose which you think come first, happiness or money? Explain.
- I believe happiness comes first. While money can provide/offer/supply
comfort and security, it’s our emotional well-being and relationships that
truly bring lasting fulfillment. People often find happiness in experiences,
personal growth, and connections with others, which cannot be bought.
Money can help improve quality of life, but without happiness, it may not
bring true satisfaction.
4. What is the difference between sudden wealth and earning more money
from a better job? Which would you prefer? Why?
- I would prefer earning more from a better job because it reflects my hard
work and personal growth. Unlike sudden wealth, which can feel
temporary, earning from a job is more stable and sustainable, offering
long-term fulfillment and career growth.

Learn from success and failure

1. What are some of the different ways a person can be successful?

- A person can be successful in many ways, such as achieving career goals,
personal growth, building strong relationships, making a positive impact,
or maintaining good health. Success is unique to each individual and can
be defined differently.
2. In what ways do you think you are successful?
- I have made progress in my personal growth, such as improving my
language skills and becoming more confident in my abilities.
Additionally, I am focused on continuously learning and striving to reach
my goals, which brings me a sense of fulfillment.
3. Do you agree that the experiences of successful people can teach us
about failure? Why or why not?
- Yes, I do. Successful people often learn from their failures, and their
experiences show us how setbacks can lead to growth. Failure teaches
resilience, persistence, and adaptability, helping us move closer to
success.

4. Is failure always a positive learning experience? Explain

- No, failure isn't always a positive learning experience. It can be
discouraging if not handled well. However, if we stay determined, it can
lead to growth. The key is how we respond to failure.
