SOP (President)

Throughout my academic journey, I have been an active participator in various leadership


roles and volunteer work. These experiences have not only shaped my understanding of the
importance of collaboration, teamwork, and effective communication but have also instilled
in me a deep sense of responsibility towards the growth and well-being of our school.

I have always loved positions in which I can plan and collaborate with my peers. Hosting
MUN’s, debates, clubs and competitions are few of the many activities I have truly flourished
in. All these take crucial part in showcasing passion, the passion for change. Bringing a
change to the world for the better of it sounds like a dream to me, a dream for which I work
everyday, unwearied with the fire in my heart to take action. I am currently interning at an
NGO which aims to spread awareness on the reproductive health of women, where I have
contributed to many outreach campaigns, helping the motive grow. However, I have bigger
plans relating to non-profits which I will be accounting into action very soon. I have also
been the founder of a wellness program made for helping students with their mental health,
named “The Harmony Haven” in which we successfully supported more than 200 students
with problems affecting them mentally. Hearing from these troubled students helped me
realize the huge impact mental health makes to academics and I hope to make a similar
initiative during my presidency including my fellow acorns in it. Apart from extracurriculars,
academics have always been of importance to me resulting in a strong academic record.

I truly enjoy the thrill of collaborating with a large body of students, where every idea
matters. With the assumption that the student government is created to imitate a
democracy, I plan on fulfilling its true meaning. Hearing the ideas and opinions of all is one
of the most crucial parts of a democracy, and to do the same, as president, I plan on creating
a student-led body for creating an online platform for the students of our school to express
their ideas anonymously. I will ensure utilizing the ideas of our students to make our school
a better place. I believe that in doing so, it would help enhance student-teacher relationships
therefore leading to smoother learning. I am confident that, together, we can continue to
build a school that nurtures the potential of every individual and prepares them for a
successful and fulfilling life beyond the classroom.

my vision for our school in greater detail.
