LIGHT – Electrical:
Required – Power sources for Electricity
Easy access to Electricity Sources at Remote Areas:
1. Wind Energy
•Description: In remote areas, wind resources can be
tapped using small or medium-scale wind turbines,
providing a reliable and sustainable source of energy where
wind conditions are favorable.

2. Hydropower
•Description: Hydropower uses the flow of water (rivers or
streams) to generate electricity. In remote areas with
access to flowing water, can provide a consistent energy
source for local communities, especially in mountainous or
hilly regions.

3. Solar Energy
•Description: Solar energy captures sunlight using Solar
panels to generate electricity. Solar power is ideal for
remote areas with ample sunlight, as it is easy to install,
requires minimal maintenance, and can be scaled to meet
varying energy needs.
LIGHT – Electrical:
Electricity – Basic Requirement and related Items:
Electricity Basic Requirements for Remote Areas
•Reliable Power Supply: Consistent or Reliable access to electricity to meet the basic needs of lighting, heating,
cooling, communication, and medical equipment.
•Energy Access: Power for homes, schools, clinics, and community infrastructure (e.g., water pumps, refrigeration).
•Sustainability: Use of renewable and locally available energy sources to minimize environmental impact and
reliance on external resources.

How Electrical systems meet the basic need of electricity:

❑ Power Generation :Use solar panels, wind turbines, and batteries to
generate and store energy for transportable communities.

❑ Energy Distribution: Install a centralized electrical panel to manage

and distribute power to lights, HVAC, cooking, and other systems.
Supply Chain Department

❑ Lighting: Use energy-efficient LED lights powered by solar energy.

❑ Backup Power: Ensure reliability with backup generators and

battery storage for when energy generation is low or grid failure
occurs.
ELECTRICAL ITEMS Application
Electrical Items for remote area :

ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS
-Medium Voltage Installation -Life Safety, Security & Surveillance
System
-- MV - Medium Voltage Panels
-- Central Battery System
-Low Voltage Installation -- Fire Extinguisher
-- Fire Alarm System- Advance level
-- LV - Low Voltage Panels/ Switch Gears -- Public Address & Evacuation
-- Cables -- CCTV System
-- Generator take off Panels -- Physical Security System
-- Lighting / Emergency Lighting
-- UPS

Information & Communication System

-- Conventional WIFI System

-- Video Conferencing System
WATER – Supply Pump, Pipes , Tap:
Water – Basic Requirement and related plumbing Items:
Water basic requirement for remote area:
•Water Supply: Use rainwater harvesting or local water sources (wells, rivers) to supply water to remote areas.
•Water Storage: Install tanks to store water, ensuring a steady supply even during dry periods.
•Water Filtration: Integrate filtration systems (e.g., UV or reverse osmosis) to ensure safe drinking water.
•Distribution: Use a simple network of pipes and pumps to distribute water to homes, clinics, or schools.
•Wastewater Management: Set up septic tanks to treat and safely dispose of wastewater.
How Plumbing systems meet the basic need of water:
•Water Supply: Delivery of potable water for drinking and
sanitation.
• Solution: Incorporate water purification systems (UV
filtration, reverse osmosis) for clean drinking water.
•Water Storage: Ensure that water can be stored efficiently
to meet daily needs.
• Solution: Install large-capacity water tanks that are
easily transportable and space-efficient.
•Wastewater Management: Efficiently remove wastewater
and treat it to avoid contamination.
• Solution: Implement water recycling systems and
wastewater treatment plants in mobile structures.
AIR – Fan, Air Conditioner & Room Cooler:
AIR OR HVAC SYSTEM
Air- HVAC Basic Requirements for Remote Areas
• Ventilation: Ensures fresh air circulation within the structure. This is crucial in confined
spaces where air quality can degrade.
• Air Filtration: Ensures the air is free from pollutants, allergens, or pathogens, improving
overall health.
• Temperature Control: Provides thermal comfort through heating and cooling systems.
• Humidity Control: Regulate indoor humidity levels to avoid mold growth and discomfort.
How HVAC systems meet the basic need of air:
❑ Ventilation: Use energy-efficient ventilation systems to
circulate fresh air.
Supply Chain Department
❑ Air Filtration: Install advanced filtration systems (HEPA
filters) to ensure clean air.
❑ Temperature Control: Utilize energy-efficient HVAC
units for heating in cold environments and cooling in
hot climates.
