RENEWABLE ENERGY OPERATED AIRPORT

WITH PILOT & BIRD SAFETY

Our project is based on creating a carbon neutral airport which


operates from Green Energy solutions and does not depend on
conventional energy sources those are indirectly responsible for air
pollution.

Here we have implemented energy generation theme from solar


cells. Solar Based Energy generation is used for energy fulfillment.

Single PV cells (also known as “solar cells”) are connected


electrically to form PV modules, which are the building blocks of PV
systems. The module is the smallest PV unit that can be used to
generate substantial, amounts of PV power. Although individual PV
cells produce only small, amounts of electricity, PV modules are
manufactured with varying electrical outputs ranging from a few
watts to more than 100 watts of direct current (DC) electricity. The
modules can be connected into PV arrays for powering a wide
variety of electrical equipment

PILOT & BIRD SAFETY

Till 2016-17 there were only 1,750 strikes reported. Right now, for
2017, there will probably be 8,00 bird strikes reported during
landing of airplane. Also we cannot kill innocent birds roaming
around the place of landing.

Our project is based on providing a safety measure to the aeroplane


while landing by mounting a safety system. If birds cross the safety
system, it generates a sound or alert, by which birds may flew away
out of the area.

Benefits of the Project

 Prevent bird strikes – improve flight safety and avoid costly


airplane/equipment damages
 Decrease nuisance for pilots, air traffic controllers, other
workers and travelers
 Eliminate fire hazards caused by birds building nests in vents
 Cut recurring cleanup and repair costs
 Protect property, landscaping, vehicles and other equipment
from corrosive droppings
 Avoid government and safety inspection failures
 Increase/maintain property aesthetics

 Repels pest birds including geese, gulls, ducks, vultures, etc.;
also deters deer, moose, elk and other pest mammals.
