TREASURE DAYS
ORGANISERS GUIDE
Welcome to our world of Treasure Hunting! We hope you find everything you need in these pages to plan a great fun day out. Helpful Hints 1. We include two versions of each hunt one is more accessible for children / families, the other a bit more challenging for an adult group. You know your audience, so choose which one will be the most fun for them to play. For example, you could run both together Hunt 1 for the kids and Hunt 2 for the grown-ups, as both are on the same route. There are additional picture questions and a list of items that can be acquired for bonus points these are optional extras for you to use. There is also a cryptic pub name round at the end as a free bonus if you wish to use it. 2. None of our hunts are speed trials, so please remind your teams that rushing around will not benefit them in any way. Allow 2-3 hours to complete the hunt (allow extra for pub / refreshment stops) Before printing / copying the team sheets, add your phone contact number for emergencies or lost players. There is a space for this at the top of Page 1 of the team sheets. Scoring: allow 5 points for each correct answer, and bonuses of 10 for each item collected from the list, and photograph clue identified.

We have given road directions, but if you would like to give your teams a map, try www.multimap.com for easy downloads. We welcome all feedback about your day, so if you have noticed something we could improve, or perhaps something unforeseen has happened (sudden building works blocking routes or similar), drop us a line at treasuredays@ btinternet.com. And, if you are happy for us to post them on the website, do feel free to send us photos too! Safety disclaimer: we have made every effort to plan routes that are in free public spaces not contravening any private property rules or regulations.
