Aromatherapy procedure

1.Preparation

Create a calming atmosphere with soothing music and pleasant scents

Set up the massage table and ensure it's adequately covered

2.Client Consultantion

Conduct a detailed consultation to assess the clients physical and emotional state

Discuss the available essential oils and their benefits to help the client choose according to their needs

3.Oil Blending

Based on clients preferences,mix carrier oil with essential oils (typically 2-5 drops of essential oil per
tablespoon of carrier oil)

4.Initial Steps

Ask the client to lie down in a comfortable position

Warm the blended oils in your hands before applying on to the clients skin .

5.Massage Techniques

Start the massage with gentle effleurage strokes to spread the oil and warm up the muscles.Incorporate
various techniques such as petrissage (kneading )friction and tapotement for relaxation and muscle
relief

Focus on specific areas identified during the consultation

6.Encourage Relaxation

Use slow, rhythmic movements to help the client relax deeply.Occasionally check in with the client to
ensure they are comfortable with the pressure and technique

7.Finish Techniques

Gradually ease up on the pressures as the massage bears it's end .Conclude with gentle strokes to bring
the client back to awareness

8.Post Massage Care

Allow the client to rest for a few moments before getting up.Provide water and discuss the benefits o
the oils used .Give aftercare advice emphasizing hydration and relaxation techniques
