A very good morning. Its good news that Dhanbad is now a green zone soon. We are following
the instructions given by the Government and that has brought the result. We as adults have to
play a very vital role to keep our families safe and healthy.
I request you to stay updated about COVIT 19 from authorized sources. DONOT encourage fake
news neither forward such messages or videos in whatsapp. Please keep your child / children
indoors.
We are helping you to keep your child / children occupied so providing you with the assignments.
But I understand that many of you might be facing problem because you do not have the text
books. This is no issue. At present our assignments are prepared in such a manner that students
can understand and solve them easily without text books.
However, it is important to keep them healthy in mind and body. Therefore, a schedule should be
maintained which you must monitor. There ought to be TIME for PRAYER, EXERCISE (eg Yoga,
free hand), GAMES (indoor like – Ludo, Carrom), SINGING, DANCING, PAINTING, etc. All our
students are talented and let them nurture their talent now to the utmost. Your involvement in
their activities will make them happy.
One important task that MUST be done daily is – READING & WRITING. Children may read
anything like newspaper, story books, biographies, fairy tales, etc. We will provide you with
certain websites with proper information as to which books will be good for our students. The
writing practice should also continue. They will improve their Handwrting, Spellings, Grammar,
Style and more. When they return to school, they will be more confident with themselves.
Please do not worry about the school curriculum and tests. We are much alert and will provide our
students with the BEST of the facilities. Once the school reopens and we get back to our regular
routine, all lessons will be thoroughly revised. Tests will be conducted only after the lessons are
taught.
During this Lockdown period, we are emphasizing on the development of good habits like Self –
Study, Self – Discipline. Assignments are designed to increase the Vocabulary, Language Fluency,
to help develop Creative Thinking and Analytical Minds. Our students are preparing for the Future.
For easy interaction between Teacher and Student we will now use our Website.
Firstly, we will create user id and password in our webpage loyolataldanga.com or
loyolataldanga.com/index.php through student portal (i.e on top of the webpage). Click on
students New page will be open (i.e Students login) Now select You not have a
membership? SignUp... Students Signup page will be open. There you have to type the
following
1) Your name (15 character only) 2) School-Id (Student Id begin with LS/) 3) Email id (Correct
email id, if not their please create it through gmail only) 4) Select the class which you study 5)
Password (easy which you can remember which is consist of 8 character or more than 8 character
but not less than 8 character) 6) Confirm Password (same as password).
Then click on Register (It will indicate that Register Successful. And then you can login. (i.e. At
the point of the screen You already have a membership? Login.).
The above point will help you to create your login and password.
After login you will see the screen Welcome to Dashboard Class….. ! On the top corner right hand
side you will see three lines select it View All Assignment (You will view all the assignment load
by various subject teachers in that three button are their they are BRIEFING, LINK & COMMENT).
BRIEFING – Teacher are telling about the assignment description, LINK – From where you can
open you file or folder. You have to click on the button LINK a dialog box will open and then you
can select the link. This link will open new page. COMMENT – Where you can send message to
your subject teacher about any type of query and teacher will reply through email. Like this way
you will receive you assignment.
Students of Class 12 will start ZOOM classes from Monday, 4th May, 2020. This is only to satisfy
their desire. We will continue with the audio and pdf assignments. This method using the audio
and pdf has given us a very good feedback. Students are able to use the files a number of times
and it helps them to understand and learn better. The Zoom class will have a fixed time. But
these audios and pdfs once downloaded are with the students all the time. Even if any gets
deleted they can download again.
Along with the new method of using the Web page for assignments, we will continue using the
whatsapp also, till our students are competent with the web page.
There is no substitute for Classroom Learning. The contact between the Teacher and Student in
the Class creates magic and makes teaching – learning interestingly easy. Technology can only be
an aid in this process. We pray and hope to get back to our Classrooms soon.
