Activity 3 – What I’m looking for

One of my goals in life is to travel and live in Europe. I've always been fascinated by
its rich history, diverse cultures, and breathtaking landscapes. However, I
understand that in order to achieve this dream, I need to prioritize certain milestones.
First and foremost, I am determined to finish my career as an Industrial Engineer. I
have been working hard and investing countless hours in my studies to gain the
necessary knowledge and skills. It has been a challenging journey, but I am proud of
my progress so far. By staying focused and dedicated, I am confident that I will
successfully complete my degree.

Another crucial step towards my goal is gaining practical experience through an


internship in a reputable company. This will allow me to apply my theoretical
knowledge in a real-world setting and further enhance my skills. Fortunately, I have
recently secured an internship position at Signify as an engineer in product
development. I am thrilled about this opportunity as it will provide valuable insights
and hands-on experience in my field of interest.

Furthermore, I recognize the importance of mastering the English language. Since


English is widely spoken in Europe, it is essential for effective communication and
integration into the local community. To achieve proficiency, I have been diligently
studying English and practicing with native speakers. In fact, I have planned a trip to
the United States for four months to immerse myself in an English-speaking
environment and sharpen my language skills.

By setting clear objectives and taking concrete steps towards achieving them, I am
confident that I am moving closer to my goal of living and traveling in Europe. I
believe that my commitment to completing my education, gaining practical
experience, and improving my language skills will open doors of opportunity and
make this dream a reality.
