INDIVIDUAL ACTIVITY

Step 1: Write the first paragraph with your current achievements. Write a paragraph

(minimum 80 words) introducing yourself and describing your current achievements using the

present perfect tense. You must write at least 3 sentences in present perfect tense and highlight

them.

My name is Bryan Alejandro Mora Reina, student of public accounting. I am 24 years

old and I live in Chipaque Cundinamarca. Besides, for my great effort, I have managed to

be a UNAD monitor. Also, thanks to the gym, I have worked on my body and mind,

allowing me to be a better person. In other matters, due to the economic compensation of

being a monitor at UNAD, I have bought a Play Station 5, which is a great video game

console.

Step 2: Write the second paragraph with your mid-term goals. Write a paragraph,

minimum 100 words, explaining your future mid-term goals (5 years down the line) including

examples with future simple (will), be going to and future continuous. You must write at least

one sentence with each future form and highlight the required sentences.

In the next five years, I will manage to graduate from university, and be a full-

fledged public accountant. Also, in a shorter time, I am going to be visiting the soccer

stadium of the Barcelona team from Spain. In other matters, in 5 years, I will be driving

a 2027 Toyota Prado. By the way, these are my goals, not my dreams, I don't like that they

confuse these two concepts, since "dreams" are just that, things that will never come true,

this in my opinion. On the other hand, goals are something that you set for yourself and

achieve with the right discipline.

Step 3: Write the third paragraph with your long-term goals. Write a paragraph,

minimum 100 words, explaining your future long-term goals (10 years down the line) including

examples with future perfect tense. You must write at least 3 sentences with future perfect tense.

Highlight those sentences.

In the more distant future, I will have completed all the studies required for a

doctorate in financial management. Also, I will have my own family, a wife, two

children, a dog, and two cats. Then, I will have collected enough money to be able to

visit the different countries I am longing to visit. This is the summary of what I want to

achieve in my life, of course there are other things that are important, but in general these

are my goals, and although not everything is as easy as it sounds, I know that with effort

and discipline can be achieved.

Step 4: Self-assessment After each student has written his/her narrative text, he/she will

write a self-assessment paragraph answering the questions. Include a minimum 50 words.

Looking at this assignment, I could see that I studied the contents of the e-book in

an adequate way. Also, I read the activity guide correctly. On the other hand, I did not

attend the web conference given due to lack of time. Also, I lacked more participation in the

forum, since I only participated at the end. However, I made the necessary revisions before

submitting the final paper in the evaluation environment.
