God hears the confession of our hearts and lips. Through Jesus Christ,
we are all forgiven of our sins, and by the Holy Spirit, we are empowered
for new life. Amen.
Pastoral Prayer
Gracious and loving God
We come to You today with heavy hearts. We are troubled by the pain,
division, and struggles in the world. We ask for Your comfort, guidance,
and strength in these difficult times.
We pray for the world You created. We ask for peace in places torn by war
and conflict, and for fairness where there is suffering. Please bring healing
to our broken world.
We pray for the leaders of nations and also to the incoming leaders Give
them wisdom and compassion to lead with love and work for peace and
fairness for all. Protect those who risk their lives to keep others safe and
help those in need.
We pray for those who are suffering, especially the poor. For those who
have no home, no food, or those who need help—Lord, please provide
them and be with them. Send people to help them and stand up for their
rights.
We also lift up the Church. Help us to be Your hands and feet in this hurting
world. May we be a light of hope and love to all who are suffering. Teach us
to love our neighbors, Give us the courage to speak truth and bring healing
in times of division.
We pray for the leaders of the Church—our pastors and all who guide us.
Give them wisdom, kindness, and the strength to lead with integrity and
love. Help us, Your people, to live out Your love in all we do.
Lord, we lift up those who are struggling in our community. For those who
are sick, we ask for Your healing. Please bring comfort to those in pain and
surround them with love and care. For those who are in grief, fill their
hearts with Your peace. May they feel Your presence in their sorrow and
know You walk with them through dark times. For families facing
challenges, please provide Your strength, guidance, and support. May
families grow closer together in love.
We ask for good health for everyone here and in our community. Keep us
safe from illness and give strength and healing to those in need. Protect us
as we go about our daily lives. Keep us safe as we travel, whether near or
far, and guide us safely to our destinations.
We also pray for our school, SCC, and all of its teachers and staff. Bless
each one with wisdom and patience as they guide the students. May our
school be a place of learning, growth, and love, where Your light shines
through everyone.
We pray for students preparing for exams—may they feel Your calm and
confidence. Help them do their best and trust You at all times.
We ask for Your help for those facing financial struggles, especially those
who need help to pay tuition. Open the doors of opportunities, and give
peace to those worried about money. Help them trust in Your provision.
We pray for all the events happening in our school as we welcome our
partners ACSCU we welcome them with open arms. Provide them a safe
travel while they traveling to our school.
We celebrate those having birthdays today. Lord, bless them with love and
joy. May this year be full of Your blessings and a deeper sense of Your
presence.
Lord, we also lift up our personal struggles, those things we keep in our
hearts. For those dealing with sickness, loss, anxiety, or fear, we ask for
Your healing and peace. Strengthen us in our weaknesses and help us trust
in Your presence, even in the darkest times.
In this moment of our prayer, we bring our personal prayers to You…
(pause a moment) I know you heard it Lord, that everyone in here is
praying.
And now you are in control of all things. We trust that You are with us
always, and Your love never fails. We place our trust in You, knowing that
You are at work,
May Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. May Your love fill the
hearts of all people and bring peace and healing to our broken world.
We pray all of this in the name of FATHER, THE SON and the HOLY
SPIRIT. AMEN
CLOSING PRAYER AND BENEDICTION
We thank You for the time we’ve spent together, for the message we heard
and for the wisdom shared, and for the vision You’ve placed upon our
hearts. As we go with peace, we ask that You continue to guide us in the
pursuit of purpose, goal and vision to Help us to walk in unity, aligned with
Your will, and to carry Your vision forward with faith and courage. May we
be instruments of peace and reflect on love in all we do.
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, The love of God the Father, And the
fellowship of the Holy Spirit,
Be with you now and forevermore. Go in peace, To love and serve the Lord,
And may His vision guide our steps As you live out His will in all that we do.
