PRICELESS GIFT IN LIFE

Assalamualaikum and a very good day I bid to the examiner and not forgetting ladies and gentlemen. My name is Che Nursyafiqah Binti Che Mazlan, from faculty of business management and now I would like to start my presentation.

Daddy can you give me 25 dollar? A child asks his father to give him twenty-five dollars without a reason. Then only a second he gave to his son that money. After receiving the money, the son asks his father Daddy how much you get paid per hour of work. His fathers reply as a doctor; Im being paid fifty dollars per hour. Then the little child holds his fathers hand and leads him to his little room, takes him to his bed, and then turns over his pillow. It surprises the father when he sees another twenty-five dollars already lying there. Then the child said daddy thank you for playing with me this is fifty dollars as a payment. Does this little story make you think? Does this situation sound familiar to you? Why does the child have to do this? Its because of money; money cut off the link between the father and the son. Many people think that money is more important than anything in their lives; however, there is still something very important that money cant buy that are most priceless gift in life. I have personally experienced the priceless gift in life and I did additional research for this speech. Today I would like to talk about three priceless gifts in life in term of ourselves, peoples and moral values. Ladies and gentlemen, The first priceless gift in life relates to ourselves. Even though we have a lot of money in the bank, cash in hand or you keep it under your pillow afraid that the bank will bankrupt but still money cant buy our health because health is a given from God to us. Many people did not border about their health but when sickness comes suddenly health become the most valued things to us this is supported by Dr Thomas Fuller the author nomological. Ladies and gentlemen what did you seen on this slide? These are money, medicines and stethoscope. What can we relate between these three things is that money can help us to get the best doctor or medicines but it still cant make us healthy immediately. So we have to appreciate our health by pay attention to our body.

Next is talent. According to Dr k Anders Ericson the Professor of Psychology at Florida State University define talent as the person's ability in doing things that not all of us can do it. We can try to do all kinds of thing likes painting, writing, telling the jokes or other stuff that make us feel proud with that talent but the true gift to do it well cant be bought. Me for example try a lot of time in playing the guitar but until now I cant play guitar but still trying. When we have the ability or talent that not all the people have that make us unique and sometimes with that talent we can make money. As you can see on the slide the picture of the cupcakes? Look delicious right. Nowadays people that have the ability in making the cute, small cupcakes can earn a lot of money because the demand for that cupcakes increase especially during the weeding ceremony or during the party.

The second priceless gift in the life is about people around us. Family is the most important person around us that we need them in all situations until we died. Ladies and gentlemen can you please raise your hand for a moment? Can you please stand up? You may sit down now. Thank you. I just want to make sure that all of you bring your hand and your feet together. Back to our business this shows that hand and feet are close together and so do you and your siblings. Normally we will share a lot of this with our siblings right? Especially when semester break when all the siblings back for holiday then suddenly your home will be noisy with the sound of you and your siblings chit chatting all over the time. And to prove that we had the strong relationship with your siblings Im sure that when you are small you often take shower together with your siblings. . So the Vietnamese Proverb about Brother and sisters are as close as hands and feet can be accepted. Next, family is important because we important and we need someone that really loyal to supporting us. Im sure that before enter this room today all of you had already called or sms your parents? Hello mummy Im having my public speaking today. Wish me luck. Dont you? The second most valued people after family is friend. Friendship is the priceless gift that cant be bought or sold. So when you ask God for a gift, be thankful that he sends, Not diamonds, pearls, or riches, But the love of a real, true friend. According to research cited in a recent cover story in Psychology Today magazine state that "People will be happier when they are with friends rather that their own child or spouse. This shows that the friends itself give the huge impact in our daily life. Ladies and gentlemen do you believe if I say that today

we can buy the friendship? Yes through Facebook and twitter the most popular site. But this friendship will not last long because this kind of friendship is just for the marketing purpose not for real friendship.

Ladies and gentlemen, Lastly is about the moral values. Values help us to decide what is right and wrong and can help us to life our live in the meaningful way. First is honesty. According to Kimberly Jane the author of the book honesty said that honesty is about telling the truth to the other people. Even all the religion asks the follower to be honest with all the people and with all situations. When honesty is lost, then wait for the Hour (the Day of Judgment). These are the noble words of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). It is important to be honest in order to build productive relationships in society because when we be honest with our neighbor that we can be easily be accepted by the community surrounding. Apart from that, respect also a gift. Respect means we treating others as we want they treat us. This is defined by Lucia Raatma the blogger, editor, and author of children's educational books. On a practical level respect includes taking someone's feelings, needs, and thoughts into consideration. It means taking these seriously and giving them worth and value. Do all of you play super Mario games? That you know that there was another hidden message that? But the hidden message is not correct because we dont need money or power in order to make someone respect for you. If you use your money and power to make someone respect to you people will not sincerely respect you. Believe in me. Respect also can be shown through behavior and it can also be felt. We can act in ways which are considered respectful, yet we can also feel respect for someone and feel respected by someone.

Ladies and gentlemen, To summarize, family, people and moral values are the priceless gift in this world that even we have a lot of money we still cant buy it. I hope that by now you have realized that life may be so hard if you dont have money, but it can be easy if you keep on believing that as soon as the sun rises to the east there is hope. Life is not all about money, it is not everything. This life is full of the priceless gift that we need to appreciate it every second of our life until we die.
