Poster Presentation – ACI Students’ Chapters Meet

Organized by ACI IUT Student Chapter

Overview:
Posters are a powerful way to visually share information and are an essential part of many
academic and professional events. They allow participants to present complex concepts in a
clear, engaging, and accessible manner.
At ACI Students’ Chapters Meet, the Poster Presentation segment aims to highlight
innovative ideas and research focused on the theme: "Sustainability of Construction
Material".

Participants are expected to present research, case studies, or innovative solutions related to
sustainable construction materials and practices.

Rules & Regulations:

Team Formation:

 Only members of ACI Student chapters are eligible to participate.


 Two teams are allowed to participate from each Chapter.
 Each team must have a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 3 members.

Poster Requirements:

 The poster must be presented in printed form by the participants on the event day.
 Poster size: 2 feet (width) x 3 feet (height).
 Poster material: PVC banner.
 The poster must include:
o A clear title.
o The team name and full names of all members.
o An introduction to the topic.
o A description of the objective/purpose of the study or problem addressed.
o A balanced mix of graphics (charts, images, graphs) and text.
o A conclusion or result based on the presented work.
o References or sources for all data used.
 Participants may base their posters on ongoing thesis or academic research.
 Note: No logo is required.

Judgment & Showcasing:

 The poster display and judgment session will be held over a 1-hour period.
 Posters will be hung in the order of registration serial.
 At least one team member must be present during judgment. Failure to do so will
result in disqualification from scoring.
