Greetings from ASN!

It gives me immense pleasure to extend my heartfelt gratitude for the participation of your school students in our online
Fest- ASN G20 International Fest @ India. The event saw an overwhelming response from schools PAN India and
abroad. The credit for the grand success of the Fest goes to the participants’ creative and innovative entries under each
event, reflecting their deep understanding of the various tenets of G20.

I now take this opportunity to further extend an invitation for the participation of your students in our forth coming event
which is a part of the series of events under our fest ASN G20 International Fest@ India- an Offline event. The event
is being held in collaboration with United Nations Information Centre for India and Bhutan (UNIC), Sustainable
World Learners Foundation, Confederation of Indian Industry (CII)- Young Indians, Centre for Environment
Education (CEE) and Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE) on Friday, 21st July 2023.

The fest shall witness the participation of school students across the borders and will further build & broaden their
understanding of Global affairs. The fest comprises of a myriad of competitions providing a platform for the young
learners to imbibe the spirit of working together to create a cleaner, healthier, peaceful, technologically
competent, yet sustainably developed world through their innovative ideas, actions and creative pursuits. Additionally
there will be ample opportunities for peer learning and broadening horizon.

GENERAL GUIDELINES
Date of the event: Friday, 21st July 2023
 School Registration is mandatory for participation. The School Registration form must be submitted through given Google
link latest by Wednesday, 5th July’ 2023. Registration after the last date will not be permitted
 The School is allowed to register only once for all the chosen events. Registration needs to be done by School authority
only
 Reporting time is between 8:15 a.m. & 9:00 a.m. at the School Reception on the day of the event
 School Code will be provided at the time of Registration on the day of the event
 One school can send one / many entries as mentioned in event details
 One student can participate in only one event
 Schools must mail the participants details in the attached Enrolment Form duly signed by the Principal latest by 17th July’
2023. Copy of the same has to submitted at the Registration Desk on the day of the event
 Participants are requested to abide by the rules specified for each event
 Participants must wear School Uniform for all events other than the ones in which specific requirement of costume is given.
School logo should be covered to conceal the School identity
 Schools must ensure to use copyright- free content for all the events

Event Outline : The participants need to prepare a Paper based on the sectors of G20.
They would critically analyse and deliberate on the strategies adopted
and implemented with respect to the chosen sectors. The paper has to be
mailed at G20ylsummit@asnschool.org by 18th July’ 2023. The length
of the paper should not exceed 1500 words. The shortlisted entries will
get an opportunity to present their papers in the month of August’ 2023.

Event Outline : The participants will bring a self-navigating Robot with
integrated GPS technology and showcase the working of ROBOT
as a solution for problem/s related to health/ agriculture/ energy/
environment/ climate change.

 The maximum dimension of Robot must be 50cm X 50cm X 75cm

 During the presentation, if any part of the robot is destructed/ dismantled/ damaged the participant will be given
a timeout to repair at an expense of penalty, while the next participant for will be called for the presentation
 The Robot must not be disassembled until the results are declared

Theme : Andy Goldsworthy’s - Masterpieces from Nature
Event Outline : This event takes inspiration from the artworks of renowned artist
Andy Goldsworthy; whose Art is Nature itself. Participants will
make use of natural elements such as brightly coloured flowers,
icicles, leaves, mud, pinecones, stone, twigs, and thorns to create
their art pieces.

 Students must not use any material other than the natural elements
 The two art elements that must be emphasized are colour and pattern.

Event Outline : The participant has to beautifully wrap a gift using recycled,
repurposed, natural and compostable materials which can most
likely be found in the house.

 Reused Cardboard Shipping Box of size 6 by 4 must be used for wrapping
 The box has to be brought by the participant
 The participant will wrap the box with eco-friendly material like old/recycled paper, newspaper,
scrap fabric and decorate it with self-created stamps, biodegradable paper tape, ribbons and bows
of old cloth etc.

My Earth Zentangle

Event : Art of Patterns
Theme : Colours of Earth
Event Outline : Zentangles are miniature pieces of unplanned, abstract, black and
white art created through a method of simple, structured patterns called
tangles. The participants has to create an earth zentangle (outline
attached below) with exquisite and beautiful zentangle patterns.

 Some basic Zentangle patterns to try. Participants can get creative with it!

Rules and Regulations:


 The print of the outline creative of the earth Zentangle will be provided by the host school.
 The participant must create his/her zentangle designs with various patterns
 The participants must bring colour pencils/markers/pens for creating patterns
 Each section must be filled with zentangle designs for example; stripes, circles, waves, swirls. The
pattern must be repeated throughout each section!
 Colours can also be filled in the designs.

physical activities, and maintaining daily health routines.
