1. Learn a poem of 2.5-3.0 minutes duration
2. Compose a poem incorporating the literary devices you like the most. Try to use
atleast two of them.
3. Out of the prose texts prescribed in your syllabus prepare a script for a short
film or skit.
4. Imagine yourself to be the Brook. Write a letter to your friend describing
him/her about your journey from the beginning to the time you merge into the
river.
5. Word Search or Crossword: Create a word search or crossword puzzle using
vocabulary from the current unit.
6. Do any ONE of the following. Use any medium of expression (poem, song, video,
article, story, radio show, dialogue writing, drama) to convey information about
Nagaland. You can talk about its history, heritage and modern development.
Or
Make a documentary or a PPT or a project on any two poets, authors, art, and
literature of Nagaland.
7. Make a project of atleast four rivers of Nagaland and four rivers of India.( Origin,
journey, water, the final destination). Also prepare a report on its importance,
challenges, and suggested restoration activities.
8. Create your own hand made diary in which you will write daily about one of
your virtuous act which you will do, like – helping your mother, helping
physically disabled people or under privileged. (80-100words) Parameters:

9. After reading the chapter ‘How I taught my grandfather to read’ what do you
think is the role of a teacher and duty of the student.
