The old John is sitting in the park and feeling happy by looking at cheerful children seems
that the old people move in their childhood. They remember that everything was cheerful in

In the third stanza poet is saying that the brightness of the morning is being changed into
darkness of night The children are searching for the laps of their mothers as the birds is their

Media and its impact

The media is the means of communication and information spreading through radio,
television, internet, newspaper etc. It provides information about education, sports, health,
current affairs, fashion and events of the world. There are two major means of
communication: electronic media and print media. Print media is the means which gives
information in form of books, newspaper, journals, magazines and novels. Electronic media
and print media performs a very constructive role as it raises awareness about many social
issues like corruption, terrorism, importance of health and education, drug addiction and
violation of human rights. Media provides entertainment through programas such as
dramas, films, talk and shows etc. Media is playing a very important role in our lives as it has
a strong impact on us.

A Visit to the Hill Station

Murree is a famous hill station. Last February, we went there. We reached Rawalpindi by
train from there we got a bus for Murree. The scenery on the way was very beautiful. In
Murree we visited many beautiful spots. We visited Mall road, governor house, Pindi chair
lift and Kashmir point. The mall was crowded place. Young men and women were moving
here, and there. They were in their best clothes. We also enjoyed horse riding. We also went
deep into the valleys We enjoyed scenery from Kashmir point. At night, we could see lights
of Islamabad from Murree. After a week we returned home in great joy.

Islamic Festivals

Festival is an event community gathering which has specific Islamic themes Festivals are Eid-
ul-Fitr and Eid-ul Arha, Shab-e-Barat, Eid Milad un Nabi etc. Eid milad un Nabi is celebrated
on the birth date of the Holy Prophet (S.A.W). It is celebrated by all Muslims with religious
enthusiasm, Shab e Barat is celebrated on 14th of Shaban Muslims believe that on Shab e
Barat Allah writes destinies of all Muslims. Eid ul fitr is celebrated at the end of fasting
month. it is three days celebration in which families and friends celebrate together. Eid ul
Azha is also three days celebration when all Muslims of the world offer sacrifice by
slaughtering a sheep, cow or camel following the traditional Islamic culture.

Pronoun and its types

Pronoun: Pronoun is word that is used instead of a noun e.g He, She, They, Someone, You
which, himself etc.

A. Personal Pronoun

The pronoun which we use for persons are called personal pronoun
There are three types of personal pronoun.

1 person pronoun

2nd person pronoun

3 person pronoun

The pronoun which we use for ourselves are called first person pronoun, eg my ours, mine,
us etc

The pronoun which is used for the person who is present infront of us and we can talk to
person direct, e.g You, Your Yours

The pronoun which is used for the person who is not present infront of us and we can't talk
directly, e.g He, him, his her they them their etc

2: Relative pronoun

The pronoun which shows the relation between first part of sentence to the other part of
sentence

3: Reflexive pronoun

When 'self' is added to the personal pronouns and used as an object, it is called reflexive
noun, eg myself, yourself, herself, himself, ourselves, themselves

4: Interrogative pronoun

These pronoun are used for asking question.

Past Continuous Tense

Past continuous tense refers to denotes these actions/events that were happening for a
particular time in the past

Urdu Identification

The Urdu identification of Past Continuous Tense is ‫رہا تھا رہی تھی رہے تھے‬

First form of Verb + ing is used.
