Semester Offered Every semester Course Synopsis Course Objectives Experiments on electric circuits, circuit design techniques: computer assisted analysis, passive circuit elements, basic circuit laws, Thevenin and Norton equivalents, maximum power transfer, ac networks. The objectives of this course are to: 1. prepare students for proper use of lab equipment and elementary electric components in the design and analysis of electric systems.

2. verify basic circuit laws, Thevenins and Nortons theorem, maximum power transfer conditions. Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students should be able to: 1. analyze electric circuits with computer simulation programs (SPICE). 2. describe an experimental procedure involving circuits with passive elements. 3. interpret experimental measurements involving circuits with R, L and C elements. 4. apply laws and theorem for analysis of electric circuits.
