First floor atrium of our new C-Wing
• The HMC Student Centre, 70,000-sq-ft student and athletics expansion, is an investment
in our student life and enriches extracurricular and recreational offerings. It is also home
to the Sheridan Student Union, SSU in short. The SSU will host events in this area for all
students and it will also be open lounge space for students to eat, study, and meet with
friends!
• You will find SSU food services like Booster Juice, Station Kitchen and Station Express.
• We have green space outside of the C-wing, as you can see outside. This outdoor space
is available for students to separate themselves from their academics and get some nice
fresh air. There will be benches and seats available so students can lounge out here.

Security as you walk Security at Sheridan is available 24/7. There is emergency access to Security through

Creativity Commons
• The Creativity Commons is the heart of the B-Wing and connects to all levels through
the orange staircase. It is a social hub where students can grab a bite to eat, catch up
with friends or do some studying.
• Tim Horton’s and the Marketplace Food Court is located here.

Students in the Visual Merchandising Arts program learn practical techniques by working on
display installations in these specially designed windows.

• This is the first floor of the Library and Learning Commons, the Tutoring Centre, which
provides learning spaces, tutoring services at no additional cost, English Conversation
practice, study skills and resources for all Sheridan students.

A-Wing Cafeteria
• The A-wing Cafeteria offers convenience items such as Tim Horton’s Express, snacks and
sandwiches, halal options, and hot food. Students can use their Onecard to pay, as well
as debit/credit/cash.
• Microwaves are also available for students to use.
Quiet Prayer Room
• We have a dedicated quiet space for reflection and prayer. It is also equipped with a
footbath for those who require this for prayer.
Bike Hub
The Sheridan Bike Hub aims to increase cycling for transportation among our students,
faculty, and staff. The program is made up of two components:
➢ A Do-It-Yourself bike repair space (guided repairs or you can borrow tools available)
➢ Bike Rental program
Health Centre
• The Health Centre operates as your family doctor while you attend Sheridan. Visits are
appointment based but we can see walk-ins on occasion.
• First Aid, medication, diagnostic testing, and rest areas are available for students.
• Students will need to present their OneCard and Health Card or GuardMe Insurance (for
international students).

• The silent study room is available to all students to focus, relax, or study.

Library and Learning Services

The Academic Integrity Office
• This office exists to remind students to make good, ethical choices in academic work.
Instructional Technology (IT) Service Desk
• ITS is available for students enrolled in our programs. Students can get assistance in
person for minor issues or can book an Appointment online to get more in-depth help.
• Check Mobile Computing recommendations ONLINE before purchasing a laptop or any
software as some of the software needed for your program may be available for free
once you pay your tuition.

• Parking for employees and students is located at the Cineplex/IMAX ‘Theatre Lot’,
located at the corner of Rathburn Rd. W. and Living Arts Dr.
• You can purchase a parking pass online or inquire at our Parking Office (up ahead in the
tour). They offer permits by semester or academic year, as well as per use.
• At the Parking Office, you can also inquire about locker rentals.

INFORMAL B-Wing Introduction
GATHERING • This building is one of the most energy-efficient academic buildings in Canada. Only two
SPACE other academic buildings in Canada achieve lower energy consumption, which is now
Sheridan’s new standard for building construction.
• This building is also built to achieve LEED Silver certification.
• This wing features unique classrooms, labs, studios, and study spaces.
• No matter which program you choose or what we see on tour today, everyone who
studies at Sheridan benefits from our uplifting community, hands on approach, and
state of the art curriculum and learning spaces.
• Living Lab Concept: The ceiling is purposely left unfinished to expose the HVAC systems,
sprinklers, and electrical, to integrate instruction with practice.

• The Sheridan Student Union is led by students like you and is dedicated to enriching
your Sheridan Life. Their mission is to create an exceptional student experience through
student focused programs, services, and advocacy.

Fitness Centre
Continue towards • The Fitness Centre is available to all full-time students and can be accessed using
Fitness Centre Sheridan OneCard. For part-time students, there is an additional membership fee.
• The Gymnasium features a double gym for basketball, volleyball, indoor soccer,
badminton, floorball, and other activities.
• Weight Room & studios – features two Olympic platforms, variety of free weights,
weight machines, and cable machines, multiple cardio machines which include
treadmills, stair masters, elliptical trainers, and recumbent bikes. Two fitness studio
spaces offer ideal areas to do yoga, stretch, foam roll, or take instructional activities like
spin class.
• The running track ABOVE features lots of natural lighting and views of the Mississauga
cityscape with two stretching areas that have HIIT and cardio machines, light weights,
swiss, bosu, and medicine balls.

Stop by the stairs. Sheridan Student Union (SSU) – Club Rooms & Silent Study Room
• SSU supports all Clubs and Organizations on campus. Through the SSU, Clubs can book
meeting space at any Student Centre building. They can also help with events,
promotions and more!
• Silent study room is available to all students, giving you space to focus, relax, or study!
