speed increases with the decrease of numbers.

(the group forms a circle and put their hands on the shoulder of their neighbours. The
groups has to jump on each “/”. The group jumps in the following order: Forward, back,
forward, back, right, left, forward, back, right, left, forward, back, right. You can attempt to
repeat this faster.

Screamer
Everybody stands in a circle. And looks down. On the count of 1,2,-3-, everybody looks up
and has to choose one person (not a thing in the room but a person) and look at their eyes.
If the person they chose looks back at them, both have to scream as loud as possible and
leave the circle after they do. If the person they chose looks at a different person, they don’t
do anything. Everyone looks down again and waits for the count off. The game is finished
when there are only 2-3 people left in the circle.
You can make the game more useful by having participants discuss certain questions in
pairs when they are out.

Time-consuming games

Train of Love
Lyrics:

Directions:
1. Everybody stands in a close circle, everybody faces the back of the person in front of
them, hands on the shoulders of the person in front. They walk in that circle singing
the song.
2. The circles becomes really tight. Everybody has to stand sideways really close to
each other. On a count of three everybody tries to sit down (so that everybody sits
down on the knees of a person behind them and everybody has the person in front
of them sit on their knees). They now need to once again try to walk around in a
circle without standing up. They will most probably fail the first time. Usually when
asked what they could do better the students come up with a strategy where
somebody has to count or say out loud which leg everybody starts with every time
they do a step.

Ninjas
The group forms a circle and has to freeze in a certain pose. They choose one person to
start. That person has to slap one hand of their neighbor to the left with one of his/her
hands, while the neighbor tries to not let that happen. Both the slapper and the person
being slapped only have one motion for this move. A hand that was slapped is out of the
game. Everybody goes in circle to slap hands. Whoever has hands left in the game wins.

Hi-Ha-Ho (укр – хі, ха, хо)


Students form a circle. They now have to pass an imaginary “energy ball”. The first to go
(1), raises his hands over his head, palms together and while saying “Hi” lowers them
quickly pointing to a random person (2) in the circle. This person (2) has to respond with
saying “Ha” while quickly raising his hands up (palms together), during this time the two
people on right and left from this person (2) have to say “Ho” while putting their hands
(palms together like a sword) to the belly of the person in the middle. Then the cycle starts
again. The person who was in the middle (and said “ha”, should still have his hands over his
head) starts with “Hi” again.

Find a leader
Everybody stands in a circle. One person is escorted out of the room. People in the circle
choose a leader, who will show moves that everybody has to repeat (clapping, jumping,
touching your ear, etc.). The leader starts showing a move, everybody repeats. The person
who was escorted out returns to the circle; He now has 3 tries to guess who the leader is.
The leader, in turn, has to change moves fairly often.

People to people
Students are split into pairs. The leader calls out two body parts (elbow-nose, nose-to-
cheek, knee-to-heel, forehead-to-belly, Back-to-knee, etc.). The pairs have to put those two
body parts together. When the leader says People-to-people, everybody finds a new pair.
Ninjas/wizards/dwarfs
This game is a lot like “rock paper scissors”, only here, the figures are those stated in the
name. Use your imagination to act out each figure with your entire body. In order to play
the kids are split into 2 groups. They form two lines facing each other. The teams discuss
which figure they will show. On the count of 1-2-3, both teams show their figures. The team
who won has to catch members of the team who lost, While the team who lost has to run
away into the “safe zone” (safe zone has to be set before the game begins).
Who beats who:
Ninjas win over wizards
Wizards win over dwarfs
Dwarfs win over ninjas
If both teams choose the same character both teams hug.
