Project Idea and Overview:

The project Online Job searching and Recruitment System is a web application that provides
a platform for Job seekers to find a suitable job according to their qualification and
experience, as well as Recruiters, can find the eligible candidate for their posted job.

In this System, we have three types of users: Jobseeker, Recruiters and Administrator.
Anyone can avail of the System services by registering themselves as a Job Seeker or Job
Provider.

Administrators will manage and authenticate the users to use the systems services.
Administrators will approve or reject the registration application of these users.

Job seekers can search for vacancies according to their qualifications and experience. Job
seekers can apply and upload their CV in the portal. After searching for a suitable job, Job
seekers can message Recruiters directly.

At the same time, Recruiters can see job seekers profiles, find suitable and eligible
candidates, post new vacancies, see profiles and conduct interviews for recruitment.

Objectives:

• Simplify the Job Search Process: Provide job seekers with an intuitive platform to
easily search, filter, and apply for relevant job opportunities.
• Empower Employers with Efficient Tools: Allow employers to post vacancies,
review applications, and manage candidate data through a centralized dashboard.
• Implement Secure, Role-Based Access: Ensure system features are accessed based
on user roles (e.g., job seeker, employer, admin), with secure login and data
protection protocols.
• Centralize and Streamline Data Management: Maintain a comprehensive system
for storing and tracking user profiles, job listings, and applications in a structured and
accessible manner.
• Enhance Usability Through Intuitive Design: Deliver a seamless user experience
with a clean, responsive interface that makes navigation and interaction effortless for
all users.

Features of the Online Job Portal:

JOB SEEKER’S:
• Registration and Login: Create and manage personal accounts.
• Profile Management: Upload resumes, update personal information, and set
job preferences.
• Job Search and Application: Search for jobs using various filters and apply
directly through the platform.
• Application Tracking: Monitor the status of submitted applications.

RECRUITER’S:

• Recruiters can register themselves using email-id, mobile number, etc.


• Job providers can add/update the profile of a company.
• Recruiter can post new vacancies.
• He can see and filter all applications of job seekers.
• Recruiter can see and download resumes of job seekers.
