Finding the way to God

Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.

Introduction:
We are living in confusion and deception. Jesus said in Matthew 24:4, 'Take heed that...
no one deceive you. People want to find God, but they seek him through
wrong paths.
the right way that leads us to God
a. Because there are paths that seem right. Proverbs 14:12
b. For there will be many false prophets. Matthew 24:11
2. Knowing the Truth
a. Reading the word of God. John 5:39 Romans 10:17
b. Through Jesus. John 14:6
c. Believing in the Gospel. Mark 1:15
3. The gospel is:
a. It is the message of Salvation that Jesus came to preach. Romans 1:16
b. Satan has blinded people so that they do not believe in the Gospel.
2 Corinthians 4:3-4
c. There is only one Gospel (message of salvation). Galatians 1:8
There are only two paths to choose from.
a. The wide path of the world. Matthew 7:13
b. The narrow and sacrificial path that leads us to God. Matthew 7:14
Few are those who find the way to God.
Conclusion:
The Bible teaches us that Jesus is the way that leads us to God. But he does not
he is the way, the truth, and the life, and only by knowing him is
that we can be truly free and find God.
John 8:32-36
2. Doctrinal
THE TITHE
What is tithing?
It is a tenth of all my income.
THE TITHING DOES NOT BELONG TO ME
The tithe belongs to God Leviticus 27:30
What is the purpose of tithing in our life? (Malachi 3:11)
a) It allows God to act in our favor
God blesses us and protects our economy
MANY MEN OF THE BIBLE GIVE THE TITHES
Abraham gives the tithes to King Melchizedek, Melchizedek is Christ
(Genesis 14)
Jacob is also one of them.
A person who does not tithe is ungrateful to God. Numbers 18:21
It hinders the development of God's work.
All the blessings He gave to you
Where to give the tithe
. Where God feeds me, there I must bring the tithe.
. We must lead our congregation
5) WHAT CAUSES NOT TITHING?
Many times, even without tithing, there is still food and work.
The profits will go elsewhere
There is a huge gap in our economy.
3 spirits attack our economy
CURSE Malachi 3:9
RUINA Malachi 3:10
DESTRUCTION Malachi 3:11

CONCLUSION: allow God to protect your economy and prosper through tithing

He says: to reprimand the devourer port.

THE POWER OF PRAISE

Echos 16: 22 -28
Introduction.- it is one of the powerful passages that commands us to worship and praise in every
moment of our lives regardless of the situation we find ourselves in.
A clear example is Paul and Silas.
1. WE MUST PRAISE AND WORSHIP IN THE MIDST OF DARKNESS verse 25
We are created to give praise
We think that one should only praise in moments of happiness.
Gratitude reaches the heart of God
2. THE TRUE PRAISE TO GOD IS A POWERFUL MEANS OF COMMUNICATING WITH GOD
THE OTHERS
. The world must hear our praise to God
. Praising Him at all times is a good way to testify to Him.
. Pablo and Silas wanted to please God and they succeeded.
3. PRAISE TRANSCENDS ALL KINDS OF LIMITATIONS AND IS A POWERFUL WEAPON
. When we praise, we go beyond natural limits.
. We enter the spiritual world
. Lives are freed from all oppression

CONCLUSION..-we must praise God at all times no matter what happens this moves God

If we are bound by some sin, praise is a good way to be unbound.

The praise and worship of God is the result of the work of the Holy Spirit.
Give encouragement
2 CONFRONTING ATTITUDES
ILLUSTRATION: a shoe brand sends 2 sales agents to study the market in
Africa
The first agent: the first thing I notice is that not everyone was wearing shoes, call the boss, he
Don't even think about settling there, we are going to fail.
2nd agent: see everyone without shoes, and says this is going to be crazy we're going to sell
until becoming millionaires, success (imagination)

same event, the same scenery, 2 different attitudes

The Bible speaks to us about the 12 spies. Numbers chapters 13 and 14.

Let's remember (previously) the history of Israel from the 10 plagues to that moment of miracles.
what God accomplished.

we are going to divide into 2 parts: the report of the 10 and the report of the 2 and their attitudes

A. THE REPORT OF THE 10 (numbers 13:27 - 29 and 32 - 33)

Your news has nothing wrong with it.
Verse 31: the problem
BAD ATTITUDE IS THE PROBLEM (verse 31)
They took an attitude
They forgot the deeds of God
For Israel, it was not a story; it was a lived experience.
The 'I can't' entered into them.
A BAD ATTITUDE IS CONTAGIOUS (Numbers 14:1-2)
It was no longer 10, now it is the people
In the current church, something similar happens.
Israel cried and lamented
THEY TOOK A PROHIBITED ATTITUDE
Let's designate a captain (overthrow him)
Let's return to Egypt = world
They disregarded all authority of Moses (Romans 13:1)
In other words, they implied that the Devil is a better master.
They forgot about God
B. THE REPORT OF THE 2 (numbers 14:6-9)
A good attitude is synonymous with faith.
They recognize the bad side
They know and remember that Jehovah is with them (Joshua 1:9)
believe in God = faith
A good attitude attracts problems
. Many will not agree
. They are accused
. The people wanted to kill them (lynch them)
. They try to change their attitude.
A good attitude has its reward
Shape your character
prophets declare for their lives
the only ones from all those people who entered the promised land
the rest will come as a bonus

CONCLUSION..-we see 2 opposing attitudes

¤ Which attitude are you going to believe?

WHAT DO I DO WITH WHAT GOD GIVES ME
GENERAL THEME: Talents
SPECIFIC THEME: The talents that God gives me.
I. INTRODUCTION

Mateo 25:14-30

A. TITLE: WHAT DO I DO WITH WHAT GOD GIVES ME

B. TEXTS:

James 1:5
Mateo 7:13-14
C. INTRODUCTORY PHRASE:
What is the best thing we know how to do or what is our talent?
God gives each of us talents and gifts to use for good, but if we use them for evil, there will be
consequences.
D. PROPOSITION
Today we must truly understand what God demands of us regarding the things He does not give.
E. O.T.
Let's look at a clear example that God gives in His word.

II. DEVELOPMENT
A. GOD GIVES EACH OF US TALENTS AND GIFTS. Matthew 25:14-30
1. A pure gold talent in the time of Jesus was equivalent to ¢208,814,228.64
The man from the parable gave each servant a certain amount of talents according to his
capacity, with the aim of having them cared for and put to work.
3. When it is said that money is going to be put to work, it means it will be invested to have more.
The servants with 5 and 2 talents traded and doubled the money.
5. How are we investing what God gives us to double it?
God will settle accounts with us.
7. Those who invested well, were faithful in little and in much would be put.
8. He who did not want to invest it judged his Lord, and took away everything from him.
Someone who does not invest what God gives them is a useless servant.
B. GOD GIVES ME THE WISDOM I NEED
James 1:5
To know how to invert what God gives us, we need WISDOM.
If we ask God for wisdom, He will give it to us abundantly and without reproach.

II. CONCLUSION

A. RECAPITULATION
God gives each of us talents and gifts.
GOD GIVES ME THE WISDOM I NEED

THE LIE
Exodus 20:16
INTRODUCTION.- A lie is something said with the purpose of deceiving.
It is not always a word. It can be:
One life: hypocrisy. Jer. 23:14
2. An idol. Isa. 59:4
3. Error against the truth. I John 2:21-22

SATAN IS THE FATHER OF LIES. JOHN 6:44

A. His first relationship with the human race was with a lie. Eve and the serpent.
B. It is a temptation that comes from Satan.
II. IT IS A EVIL THAT AFFECTS ALL OF HUMANITY.
A. Psalm 58:3
B. It is the custom of the old man. Col. 3:9
III. GOD'S ATTITUDE TOWARDS LIE.
A. The righteous hate falsehood. Prov. 13:5
B. The man who gives thanks to God does not respect the liar. Psalm 40:4
I cannot thank God and respect the liar.
I don't have much respect for the liar.
I don't know to what extent I should trust them.
It is like a shameful stain on his character.
He is fully condemned and punished by God. Psalm 52:1-5
C. You will not find a dwelling in the house of God. Psalm 101:7
IV. IT BECOMES A VICE.
A. Psalm 62:4
Aman
They find delight.
They find pleasure.
They found satisfaction.
The ability to deceive someone gives a sense of euphoria like a drug.
a) It's like having power over others.
They feel superior to others.
c) The deceived is his victim.
B. They do it unwittingly. Santiago 1:26
They deceive themselves.
It's easier to lie than to tell the truth.
It becomes a habit.
It costs to win victory.
V. THE CONSEQUENCES OF LIES.
A. We lost the respect and trust of others.
They do not give us favors.
Our success depends on ourselves, no one else.
We can go much further with the approval of others.
B. A lie that must be covered with others.
For example: A lady sends her daughter to the door to tell the collector that she is not home.
at home. The collector says:
Ah no. Where is your mom?
Well,... She went to the doctor.
Ah yes, what does she have?
Well... he/she has a stomach issue.
Oh yes, did she eat something bad?
Yes.
What did she eat?
Well... he/she ate a lot of sausages.
Sometimes it's a drama that never ends until you confess, 'I was lying.'
C. Lies lead people to other sins and crimes. Hosea 4:1-2
Sometimes it is the revenge of the deceived person.
Sometimes it goes as far as homicide to silence the mouth of those who know the truth.
If one is a liar:
a) No, in itself, it means that he is guilty of other sins.
b) It is suspicious.
c) He/She is weak.
d) Note character.
D. The punishment of God. Rev. 21:8
VI. THE DANGER.
A. It is a temptation that everyone has to face.
Many times it seems like the best way to escape.
The truth is that many times we can get away with a lie.
Yet Peter yielded to temptation. Mat. 26:72
B. We must still guard against the temptation to twist the truth a little in our favor.
VII. THE SOLUTION.
A. Confessing that it is a sin.
B. Ask for God's forgiveness.
C. Ask God's help in mastering the habit.
CONCLUSION.-
If it is your habit to lie, seek God's forgiveness. Make the decision that you will not do it again.
7. Revival

WE NEED THE HOLY SPIRIT

ILLUSTRATION: we all remember our first kiss or the first time we went out with the
