As a student in Centennial Colleges Occupational/Physical Therapy Assistant diploma program, I have acquired the knowledge and academic training to support and empower people in need for rehabilitation therapy. As an Aquatics Instructor, I developed strengthening, balancecoordination and stretching routines, which I have used extensively to design fitness activities. In doing so, I have assisted clients in promoting movement, improving function and participating in leisure activities within their daily lives. I have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and I have been praised by both staff and family members for my abilities to relate and care for my clients. My current schedule is quite flexible and would accommodate a variety of day, evening and/or week-end shifts. It would be a pleasure to work for London Health Sciences Centre.
