I went on the Alternative Spring Break trip to New "Orleans, and it was a meaningful experience that I believe everyone should do at least once during their time at St. Edward's University. Preparation for the' trip included a day of cleanup in Bastrop after the wildfires, a Saturday Retreat to take care of trip logistics, and weekly meetings in which we prepared to live simply and engage the community we would be working with.
