Unzip the files on a computer then use a program like Dropbox to access
the files on your tablet. You can also email the files to yourself and open
them on the tablet, then save them to your photos.
Trouble downloading or files won’t open:
There may have been an error when downloading the files from Etsy.
Delete the downloads completely from your computer and try
downloading again from your purchase history.
If you lose the files:
The files can always be found in your purchase history on your Etsy
account.
Basic Terms:

Important Notes:
- The upstrokes require less pressure and an upward movement. Press hard on downstrokes to
get the thick line.
- Don’t be afraid to stop in the middle of a letter and lift the pen. In fact, this is what you
should be doing to plan each stroke. Hand lettering is a slow process, think of it as drawing the
letters rather than writing.

- The pen makes a difference, brush pens are made to hold up to the pressure of downstrokes.
Alternatively, you can use a standard pen and manually draw and color in the downstrokes.
- Practice with crayola markers as a cheap alternative to brush/calligraphy pens.
- Other options include watercolor paint, chalk, and chisel tip pens
- Keep some old practice sheets to monitor your progress, practice is the only way to get better!
