Always blames others (employees) if any mistake occurs.

3) From all the positive side and negative side of the manager, we conclude that : He is a good leader for his employees, but not a caring manager

Analysis the classification of a managers functional approach

1) Main Functional Approach


Organizing
His main functional approach is on organizing. Organizing is the function of management that involves developing an organizational structure and allocating human resources to ensure the accomplishment of objectives. Overall, he is classified as a Organizing Manager, because :
He can define job description and arrange his employees to do what he

asks He is able to structure the work to accomplish organizational goals


He is good at design and implementation policies and procedures of the

organization So, from his organizing skills, he can set up goals, targets and vision of the company and establish strategies to achieve goals and developing the plans that make he have planning functional approach, thus he can achieve his goals by having a good organizing skills.

2) Sub Functional Approach Planning


Besides having main functional approach (in organizing), he also posseses some functional approach such as Planning. Planning is the function of management that involves setting objectives and determining a course of action for achieving these objectives. Planning requires that managers be aware of environmental conditions facing their organization and forecast future conditions. It also requires that managers to be a good decision-makers. He is classfied as a Planning Manager, because :
He can define goals, targets and also vision of a project for the company

He can establish strategies to achieve goals and also developing the plans to coordinate activities and job description for the employees

So, by having both the organizing and planning skills, we can conclude that his ability to coordinate his employees and his ability to establish or build up the strategies was superb, and it show that he was a great manager in term of ability.

An Ideal Manager

We think that a good manager is someone who possess the ability to : Build a team that functions in unison Achieving the company goals Develop future visions Resolve the problems that arise unexpectedly Make tough decisions Unhesitant in making decision

Besides having the ability above, a good manager should also be able to: Build a good relationship with the employees, supplies, and distributors Being thoughtful to the employees Gains employees respect

Give and receive constructive criticism Being indiscriminate towards employees
