Recent Technical Achievements

The MSV Express successfully installed a jumper for the Independence Hub development in the deepest recorded water depth of 9,083 feet.

The Q4000 removed a hydrate plug in a Mariner deepwater flowline in the Gulf of Mexico using five miles of drill pipe.
Canyon Offshore achieved the world record depth for flow line burial on the Coulomb project for Shell Oil. The 28 mile long Coulomb flow line was buried in water depths up to 7,576 ft. The burial performed for flow assurance improvement was a complete success with minimal downtime and high profitability. Helix Well Ops successfully abandoned 5 subsea wellheads wells for Total in Vietnam resulting in a worlds first with single pass severance of conductor and casing strings in under 24 hours each.

Helix Well Ops set world depth record for subsea wireline intervention from a monohull vessel offshore Australia for Woodside by retrieving tubing hanger plugs from two subsea wells located in 392 m (1,286 ft) of water.
