8. Ecosystem
(1)Projects must not involve significant conversion or significant degradation of critical natural habitats and critical forests. (2)Projects must, in principle, be undertaken outside of protected areas that are specifically designated by laws or ordinances for the conservation of nature or cultural heritage heritage.
9. WB OP4.04 Natural Habitats Project Design and Implementation 4. The Bank does not support projects that, in the Bank's opinion, involve the significant conversion or degradation of critical natural habitats habitats.
