The Lounge at Camelot Inn and Suites

PROMOTER AGREEMENT This agreement is between ___________________________________(the promoter) and Camelot Entertainment Corporation d/b/a The Lounge (The Lounge). The Lounge agrees to provide a venue for the promoter on the following dates: (fill in all dates) ______________________________________________________________________________ The Lounge will permit the promoter to organize an event with live entertainment on the above dates. The promoter may charge a cover charge on these dates starting at _______(am/pm) and ending at _______(am/pm). After the ending time, the door shall be opened to anyone without cost. The cover charge shall not exceed $_________ per person. The Lounge will pay the promoter 10% of all alcoholic beverage sales in excess of $1,500, not including snacks, cigarettes, prepared foods or other non-drink items. Payment will be made by check within seven (7) days of the event after the accounting is approved by all partners for the alcoholic beverage sales. The promoter may inspect the cash register tape upon request to confirm the revenue. The promoter shall provide a person of their choosing to collect the door money. The Lounge will not collect or manage any funds for the promoters event. The promoter shall ensure that the live entertainment offered does not include any lewd, illegal or inappropriate conduct and shall maintain reasonable control over community standards and expectations normal to a live bar/nightclub event venue. The promoter shall not permit over-capacity so as to violate any fire marshal regulations. The promoter will work with The Lounge management to ensure the capacity is not exceeded throughout the course of the event. The promoter may use any reasonable means to promote the event and The Lounge will permit the following advertising on the hotel/lounge premises: (provide specific details here) [ ] Flyers/handbills at the front desk to be given to guests in advance of the event. 2 April 28, 2009 The Lounge will provide reasonable cleanup, sell drinks and food and manage their business as they normally would. The Lounge shall have the right to permit bona fide employees of The Lounge and Camelot Inn and Suites entry to any events at no cost. Camelot Inn and Suites will agree to provide two (2) free hotel rooms (if available) to the promoter and additional rooms at 50% off the normal pricing. The Lounge shall not provide any workers compensation insurance coverage to the promoter or his/her employees. Additionally, the promoter expressly agrees that he shall hold The Lounge harmless for any injury or losses to the promoter or his/her employees while on the property doing business as a promoter and during the event. The Lounge is not a formal business partner and offers no guarantee as to how much the promoter will make during their event. The Lounge is not responsible for the promoters expenses or profits. This agreement is no form of employment agreement; The Lounge is not employing the promoter nor his/her employees.
