P-7 Heavy Drop Parachute System recently received a
bulk order, a move slated to enhance the armed forces'
paradropping capabilities.
It is a military parachute system primarily used for the
airdrop of heavy equipment, vehicles, and supplies from
aircraft. It was indigenously designed and developed by
DRDO.
‘Operation Sajag’, a drill involving all stakeholders
of the coastal security construct, was conducted by
the Indian Coast Guard along the west coast.The
drill facilitates revalidation of the coastal security

The New Delhi Leaders Declaration was adopted with consensus.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the
Governments of India, the US, Saudi Arabia, the European Union,

East – Europe Economic Corridor (IMEC).
The IMEC comprises of an Eastern Corridor connecting India to the
Gulf region and a Northern Corridor connecting the Gulf region to

Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV-XL) launched

months, the spacecraft shall be placed in a halo orbit

Report' by Canada's Fraser Institute has been released
in India in conjunction with New Delhi-based think
tank Centre For Civil Society. According to the
report, Singapore topped the index.
India has fallen one notch to the 87th position out of 165 countries
on the economic freedom index. The country was at the 86th spot
in previous year's rankings.

India retains 40th rank out of 132 economies in the Global
Innovation Index 2023 rankings published by the World
Intellectual Property Organization. India has been on a
rising trajectory, over the past several years in the Global
Innovation Index (GII), from a rank of 81 in 2015 to 40 in
2023.
Bhupender Yadav awarded first rank to Indore,
in the Swachh Vayu Sarvekshan-2023 (or Clean
Air Survey), conducted by the Central Pollution
Control Board.
Under the first category (million-plus population), Indore ranked
