17A being built at MDL, was launched at the shipyard

bulk order, a move slated to enhance the armed forces'

It is a military parachute system primarily used for the

DRDO.
‘Operation Sajag’, a drill involving all stakeholders
of the coastal security construct, was conducted by
the Indian Coast Guard along the west coast.The
drill facilitates revalidation of the coastal security

Indian Naval Ships Ranvijay and Kavaratti and

approved the domestically developed Dhruvastra
short-range air-to-surface missile ensuring a safer

annual exercise conducted jointly by the Indian Army

Maruti Suzuki India has joined forces with the Indian

Navy to promote career opportunities among the

The Indian Air Force (IAF) has recently celebrated the
arrival of the first of six state-of-the-art Dornier Do-228
aircraft, exclusively manufactured by Hindustan

Taiwan has recently unveiled its first domestically-
made submarine, named the Haikun to bolster its
defenses against the ever-present threat of a possible

The Indian Navy plans to equip the MQ-9B Sea
Guardian medium altitude long-endurance (MALE)
drones with sonobuoys. Sonobuoys are small,
expendable devices used in underwater acoustics and
sonar systems to detect and analyze sound in the
ocean, particularly for tracking submarines and other
underwater.

The New Delhi Leaders Declaration was adopted with consensus.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the
Governments of India, the US, Saudi Arabia, the European Union,
the UAE, France, Germany and Italy to establish the India – Middle
East – Europe Economic Corridor (IMEC).
The IMEC comprises of an Eastern Corridor connecting India to the
Gulf region and a Northern Corridor connecting the Gulf region to
Europe. It will include a railway and ship-rail transit network and
road transport routes.
The "Bharat: The Mother of Democracy" portal, launched on the eve
of the G20 summit by the Ministry of Culture, offers a comprehensive
exploration of India's 7,000-year democratic history.

The 'Economic Freedom of the World: 2021 Annual
Report' by Canada's Fraser Institute has been released
in India in conjunction with New Delhi-based think
tank Centre For Civil Society. According to the
report, Singapore topped the index.

India has fallen one notch to the 87th position out of 165 countries
on the economic freedom index. The country was at the 86th spot
in previous year's rankings.

India retains 40th rank out of 132 economies in the Global
Innovation Index 2023 rankings published by the World
Intellectual Property Organization. India has been on a
rising trajectory, over the past several years in the Global
Innovation Index (GII), from a rank of 81 in 2015 to 40 in

Bhupender Yadav awarded first rank to Indore,

in the Swachh Vayu Sarvekshan-2023 (or Clean
Air Survey), conducted by the Central Pollution
Control Board.

Under the first category (million-plus population), Indore ranked

first, followed by Agra and Thane. Amravati secured first rank in the
second category (3-10 lakh population), followed by Moradabad and
