STORY RESOLUTION CHALLENGE
Title: The Mystery of Room 12
Paragraph 1 – Introduction
Tanauan Central Elementary School was buzzing with excitement as the annual School Fair
approached. All clubs and grade levels were preparing booths, performances, and contests.
Among the busiest was Grade 6 Harmony, who volunteered to set up a “Mini-Mystery
Room” in Room 12—an escape-room style challenge for visitors.
Paragraph 2 – Rising Action
The class spent days preparing clues, decorating the room, and testing the activities. Miggy,
the class leader, kept the master folder that contained all final clues, passwords, and the key
sequence needed to complete the challenge. Without the folder, the Mystery Room wouldn’t
work at all. Everyone reminded him to guard it carefully.
Paragraph 3 – Problem/Conflict
On the morning of the School Fair, chaos erupted when Miggy realized the master folder
was missing. He checked his bag twice, asked his classmates, and even reported it to their
adviser—but it was nowhere to be found. Without the folder, they could not open the booth,
and visitors were already lining up outside Room 12.
Paragraph 4 – Climax
Tension grew as the bell rang, signaling the start of the fair. Some classmates panicked,
others blamed one another, and a few suggested canceling the booth altogether. Miggy felt
responsible and was close to tears—but then he noticed something unusual near the back of
the room: a trail of small printed clue cards leading toward the storage cabinet.
