CLOSING REMARKS

Groundbreaking Ceremony (Three-Storey, 6-Classroom Building)

Good morning everyone!

On behalf of the 169 students and 8 members of the faculty and

staff of our school General Artemio Ricarte Senior High School headed
by our school principal, Dr. Alexander L. Lino; we thank you for taking
the time to join us today for this momentous occasion. The
groundbreaking ceremony this morning marks the commencement of
construction for our three-storey, 6-classroom building.

At present, GARSHS has a two-storey, 4-classroom building which

caters the 169 students taking up the Academic Track – Science,
Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Strand. Hopefully, this
building that is about to rise will benefit the incoming students of
GARSHS who will take up the Academic Track – Accountacy, Business
and Management Strand for the coming school year 2019-2020.

Ladies and gentlemen, at GARSHS, we care deeply about our

students and communities. The construction of this new facility here in
GARSHS demonstrates our dedication in striving to be a part of
something that will benefit our students and the community and our
commitment to hone them as 21st century learners that make the greatest
difference.

Before I end, I would like to wish all the best and thank the
following the City Schools Division of Batac thru the leadership of Dr.
Joann A. Corpuz, the City Government of Batac headed by Hon. Albert
D. Chua, the Ilocos Norte 2, District Engineering Office thru the
leadership of Engr. Mathias L. Malenab, the MSF construction headed by
_____________ and other platformed guests for taking the time to make
this groundbreaking ceremony a success!
