STATE OF THE SCHOOL ADDRESS

(SOSA)

My greetings of peace to our barangay officials headed by barangay captain Vemas P. Baguio, to our PTA
officers, SSG, SGC, Parents, stakeholders, to the alumni and to all teachers and non-teaching staff, good
afternoon.

“Coming together is a beginning; keeping together is progress; working together is success.”

These words of Henry Ford inspire me to continue and sustain and even develop the quality of education
services to our dear learners in Tanque National High School despite the threat of the pandemic that we
faced and have caused a great barrier in the field of learning delivery which led to changing the education
system by adapting the Modular Distance Learning modality (MDL) just to sustain the continuity of
education and cater the learning needs of our learners. And today, I am so much elated to present to you the
accomplishments that our school have achieved and made in this school year through the efforts and
collaboration of all staff of TNHS, stakeholders, alumni and parents working together as a team.

These are the following accomplishments of Tanque National High School in this school year 2021-2022:
Firstly, we have built 6 Temporary Learning Shelters (TLS) for teachers who do not have classrooms which
were already used by the students in the face to face resumption that started on May 16 in which they were
very happy to have already a room to go and a place to gather in, unlike before that they didn’t have
classrooms, and, which they find difficulty with.
Secondly, we have 23 functional comfort rooms in which some have complete facilities and others don’t
have, especially water supply. We have also 150 faucets which were already utilized by the students who
attended face to face classes and have also repaired some classrooms and repainted the roofing to cover the
rust and make it look new. To continue, I am also glad to inform you that we have already started to
reconstruct the gate of our school and maybe by the opening of the next school year 2022-2023, it will be
finished.

And lastly, we have constructed benches with canopies around the school quadrangle and purchased an oven
and other equipment for baking in which the students especially in TLE Cookery and Bread & Pastry
subjects have already utilized and enjoyed. With this, I am very grateful to all staff of our school who never
decline to extend their hands and support to me as their school head in order to achieve the success of all
projects and innovations of our school and in connection to this, my heart is filled with pride and joy as I
present to you the number of helping hands and idea-generating minds that Tanque National High School
has. As of this time, we have 2 Teacher II, 31 Teacher I in which one teacher was borrowed by Isidro High
School which is a new institution within the district of Pio V. Corpus, a total of 34 teachers and 15 from
Senior High School department. They are the courageous and strong frontliners of our school. As of this
school year, I am also filled with pride that we have 1454 enrolment in which 189 are grade 7, 232 are grade
8, 288 are from grade 9, 320 are grade 10, 206 are grade 11 and 219 are grade 12.

Having presented the accomplishments of our school. I am very grateful and overjoyed by the support of
you, dear parents. Without you, all these would not be made possible especially to our stakeholders, to our
alumni and to everyone who have extended their support to our institution. I know that the previous years
brought sadness and despair to us specially to our children, but still, we managed to continue their education
in order to help them achieve their dreams as we believe that this pandemic could not hinder our students
from capturing their greatest success. May all your struggles would not block your passion in the pursuit of
your dreams for your children. Once again, good afternoon.
