DOUBLE REINFORCEMENT
All reinforcement must be cold-bent. The reinforcement partially embedded within the concrete does not
It must be bent, except when otherwise indicated in the plans. Bending of the reinforcement will not be allowed.

PLACEMENT OF THE REINFORCEMENT

The reinforcement will be placed respecting the cover specified in the plans. The reinforcement must
ensure that during the emptying there are no displacements that exceed the
permissible tolerances.

LIMITS FOR REINFORCEMENT SPACING

The free spacing between parallel bars in a layer must be greater than or equal to 2.5 cm or 1.3 times.
to the nominal maximum size of the coarse aggregate.

In the columns, the clear distance between longitudinal bars shall be greater than or equal to 1.5 times their diameter.
4 cm, or 1.3 times the maximum nominal size of the aggregate.

The reinforcement for contraction and temperature must be placed at a spacing less than or equal to 5 times the
thickness of the slab, not exceeding 45 cm.

REINFORCEMENT SPLICINGS
Reinforcements should preferably be spliced in areas of low stress, the bars
longitudinal columns should preferably overlap within the central 2/3 of the height of the
element. The splices should only be made as required or allowed by the design plans or
as authorized by the Supervisor.

The overlapping bars through contactless overlaps in elements subjected to bending shall not
Separate transversely more than 1/5 of the required overlap length, nor more than 15 cm.

The minimum overlap length for the overlapping joints in tension shall comply with the requirements.
from the splices (See 8.11.1 of the RNC), but never less than 30 cm.

Joints in high-stress areas should preferably be avoided; however, if it were

strictly necessary and if it overlaps less or more than half of the bars within a length
The required overlap must use the joints indicated in point 8.11.1 of standard E-O60.
Reinforced Concrete of the R.N.C.
In general, the specifications set forth by the National Construction Regulations must be respected.

MEASUREMENT METHOD:
The measurement will be by cubic meter of poured concrete.

PAYMENT METHOD:
It will be canceled according to the number of cubic meters that have been considered in the Value.

17.04.02.02 SCREEN, FORMWORK AND DEFORMWORK CARAVISTA m2
GENERALITIES:
Formwork is made of wood, steel, acrylic fiber, etc., whose main purpose is
It is to contain the concrete giving it the required shape, which must conform to the specifications in the
ACI-347-68 standards.

For the present project, wooden formwork will be used, such as planks, sole boards, and battens.
corner posts, stakes, crossbars, braces, upright posts, etc.

These must have sufficient capacity to withstand the pressure resulting from placement and vibration.
of the concrete and sufficient rigidity to maintain the specified tolerances. The land cuts
They should not be used as formwork for vertical surfaces unless required or permitted.

The formwork will be designed to safely withstand all loads imposed by its own weight, the
weight and thrust of the concrete and a filling overload of no less than 200 kg/cm2. The deformation
maximum between support elements must be less than 1/240 of the light between structural members.

The molds must be airtight to prevent the mortar from leaking and will be properly
stretched or connected in such a way that they maintain the desired position and shape with
safety. Where it is necessary to maintain the specified tolerances, the formwork must be pumped
to compensate for the deformations prior to the hardening of the concrete. Positive means of adjustment
(wedges or jacks) of inclined or punctual supports must be provided and all settlement must be
eliminated during the concrete placement operation. The formwork must be braced
against lateral deflections.

Temporary openings must be planned at the base of the formwork for columns, walls, and in
otros puntos donde sea necesario facilitar la limpieza e inspección antes de que el concreto sea vaciado.
Formwork accessories to be partially or totally embedded in concrete, such as ties
and hanging supports must be of commercially manufactured quality.

The formwork braces must be made in such a way that the ends can be removed.
without causing chips in the concrete layers after the ties have been removed. The braces
The shapes will be regulated in length and will be of a type that does not leave any metal element behind.
inside 1 cm from the surface. The wooden forms for openings in walls must be constructed.
in such a way that facilitates their loosening; if necessary, it will be necessary to counteract the swelling of the
forms.

The size and spacing of the vertical posts and beams shall be determined by
the nature of the work and the height of the concrete to be poured, left to the discretion of the Inspector Engineer
those sizes and spacing.

Immediately after removing the forms, the concrete surface should be examined.
carefully and any irregularity must be addressed as instructed by the Engineer.

The concrete proportions with crab nets must be chopped to the extent they cover.
defects and the space filled or repaired with concrete or mortar and finished in such a way that it
obtain a texture surface similar to that of the surrounding concrete. Coarse patching will not be allowed.
of such defects.

The design, construction, maintenance, de-molding, storage; are exclusively

responsibility of the Resident Engineer.

Tolerance:
In the execution of the forms used for the formwork, the dimensions are not always obtained.
exact because a certain tolerance has been anticipated, this does not mean that they should be used in the form
generalized.

Allowable Tolerance:
Shoes: At a plant of - 6 mm, at + 5 mm, eccentricity 2% of the width but no more than 5 cm, reduction
in the thickness, 5% of the specified.

Columns, Walls, Slabs: In the cross-sectional dimensions from 6 mm to 1.2 cm.

Verticality: On the surfaces of columns, walls, slabs:
Up to 3 m. 6 mm.
Up to 6 m. 1 cm.
Up to 12 m 2 cm.
In gradients of floors or levels, finished floor in both directions ± 6 mm.
In various openings in floors, walls up to 6 mm.
For stairs, the risers ± 3 mm, for the tread ± 1 mm.
For the risers ± 6 mm, for the tread ± 3 mm.

DECRYPTED
To carry out the de-molding of the forms, precautions must be taken properly.
The observations made during its execution should yield a good result; the precautions to be taken are:

Do not remove the formwork until the concrete has hardened sufficiently for the operations.
relevant materials do not suffer tears in their structure or permanent deformations.

The forms must not be removed without the authorization of the Inspector Engineer, and must remain the
time required for the concrete to achieve the appropriate hardness, some possible times are given
unencumbered.
Side of footings and walls 24 hours
Side of columns and beams 24 hours
Beam foundation 21 days
Lightened slabs and stairs 7 days

When the concrete strength has been increased through mix design or the incorporation of additives
The duration of the formwork may be shorter upon approval from the Inspector Engineer.

MEASUREMENT METHOD:
The unit of measurement is in Square Meters (m2)

METHOD OF PAYMENT:
The payment will be made pending authorization from the Supervising Engineer for the executed unit.
The payment will be made according to the progress achieved during the month.
