The X-Factor Finalists - 'Hero'

American Idol's done it a few times, and Pop Idol had a go, so it's odd that it's
taken The X Factor this long to round up its finalists for a charity single. Then
again, the timing is strangely perfect - with Leon Jackson failing to reach num-
ber one recently, the show could do with reminding us of its chart-topping po-
tential. And so all 12 of this year's finalists - including those who've already
been eliminated - have teamed up to record a Mariah Carey cover in aid of
'Help For Heroes', a charity that supports wounded servicemen and women,
and the Poppy Appeal. The single has been number one for the past two
weeks now. Will it Stay at number one?
Duffy - 'Rain on your parade' *Released Recently*

At the beginning of the year, music critics saw Duffy as "one of the new Amy's", but with her debut album likely
to become the biggest seller of 2008, the Welsh singer is now very much a contemporary of Winehouse – in
terms of musical achievement. Duffy is back with single number five. A new track taken from the 'Deluxe Edi-
tion' of her Rockferry album, 'Rain On Your Parade' has a more orchestral sound than her previous releases,
leading many to speculate that it may have been intended for the new James Bond film. Whether it lost out to
Jack and Alicia or not, this sounds like another smash for Duffy, with her distinctive vocals sure to provide
warming comfort as the cold winter nights set in.

Katy Perry - 'Hot N Cold'

Whether it's kissing girls, jumping in cakes or posing with knives, Katy Perry knows a thing or two about making
the headlines and Perry is hoping to cash in by releasing a second serving of feisty pop in the shape of 'Hot N
Cold'. Sticking to the pop-rock template laid down by Avril Lavigne and Pink, this track doesn't live up to the
hype surrounding its singer, but the choppy guitars and whooshing synths have a
certain charm. The exciting lyrics and fuzzy pop soundtrack suit Perry's distinctive
vocals, ensuring 'Hot N Cold' should prove as popular with radio programmers
as 'I Kissed A Girl'. Like her or not, it looks like she's going to be
around for a while yet.

Guns N' Roses - 'Chinese Democracy' *Brand New Single*

After 15 years, several million 'dollars' and a rotating list of band members not
even Spinal Tap can compete with, Axel Rose has finally deemed the world
ready for his Chinese Democracy project. Kicking of with the front man's famil-
iar screeching wail and a barrage of turbo-charged metal riffs, 'Chinese De-
mocracy' is exactly what you'd want and expect from a Guns N' Roses single
that took over a decade to produce. Ludicrous, barmy and seriously loud, this
track packs a knockout punch. It features five guitarists, pompous lyrics about
"missionaries" and some guitar nodding even Slash might be jealous of. It's
not going to change the world, but the Guns comeback is far
better than it's got any right to be!

The Script - 'Breakeven' *New Single*

Irish trio 'The Script' cracked the top 20 in May with the cheerily-titled 'We Cry', but it wasn't
until second single 'The Man Who Can't Be Moved' became a radio favorite that they made the big league,
with their debut album zooming straight to the top of the charts.
Now they're back with single number three and a pattern seems to be emerging.
'Breakeven' chronicles a relationship that's "falling to pieces", with one party (partner) coping a
lot better with the split than the other. "What am I supposed to say when I'm all choked up and you're OK?"
sings front man Danny O'Donoghue. Though his voice does convey a degree of raw emotion, this lacks any
sort of originality, making it easy to dismiss as just another middle of the road pop-rock song.

So on that note, who will stay and who will stray from The Habtips Top 5?

Habbo USA New Features

Recently, there have been many new changes on Habbo USA.

The biggest and most popular new change to Habbo has been the ‘respect’ feature.
There are different levels of respect you have, and therefore, you receive a badge de-
pending on your respect level. You can give up to 3 respect per day to a Habbo of
your choice. There have also been new features on the Hotel, where you can get dif-
ferent types of badges for different achievements that you accomplish on the Hotel. A
few examples: Habbo Guide, Amount of days that you log into the hotel in a row,
Habbo club membership. These have become very popular with a lot of new habbos. I
bet you are thinking, what's a Habbo Guide? Well.. Any habbo can sign up to be a
Habbo Guide by joining the group, therefore receiving a Level 1 badge,
and the basic idea is to help as many new habbos to the hotel as possible, and your
badge level will increase over time. Another new feature that has come to Habbo USA,
is the instant chat feature, this has become a great feature for instant connections to
your friends on habbo without waiting for messages to be replied to. You can chat to
your friends, it doesn’t matter where they are in the hotel, and you can have as many
instant chats as you desire.
And one more very useful feature, is how you can manage your friends on your con-
sole, for instant, if you have too many people on your console, you can find out when
they last logged on. The friend management tool can be
found in your habbo’s ‘account settings’. This has become very popular with Habbos.
And another thing, you can also turn off your ‘follow me’ button (known as the stalk
button, to turn it off,
go to your habbo’s ‘account settings’, then ‘My preferences’, and go down to the
‘follow me’ setting, now you
won’t get pestered!

Habbo Pixels!

There are pixels to earn which are basically like coins but you can purchase
many cool new features. If you earn around 89-139 pixels you can make your
Habbo disappear, glow and even ride a hover board and this lasts for an hour.
You earn pixels by earning badges and logging in for the hotel for a long time.
Its very simple to earn these pixels and you can even start to purchase dis-
counted furniture with them with a small amount of coins.

The Pixels also ties in to the other latest feature across all the Habbo Hotels
which is the new badges. There are many badges you can collect and if you .
collect a certain badge you earn a number of pixels too!

Here are a couple of examples:

Traveler:
- Logging into Habbo up to 35 days in a row results in 200 pixels ( levels in between)

Room Raider:
- Hanging out in up to 30 guest rooms which aren't owned by you results in 15 pixels ( levels in between)

True Habbo:
- Habbo's who have been members up to 5 years results in 200 pixels ( levels in between)

Words Of Wisdom:
- Tag yourself 5 times, but remember choose those words wisely! (Results in 50 pixels and levels in between)

Nice As Pie:
- Give other Habbo's respect 100 times (Results in 20 pixels and levels in between)

True You:
- Activiationg your email (Results in 200 pixels and levels in between)

HC Club Membership:
- Purchuse Habbo Club for 48 months (Results in 500 pixels and levels in between)

Respect:
- Recieve respect 1166 times (Results in 400 pixels and levels in between)
Starts with 1 then 6, 16, 66, 166 and then a further 200 added on each time until you reach Level 10!

Q:I caught my sister taking drugs with her
friends down town and i don't know
Whether to tell my parents about it.
I don't want to get my sister in trouble because my mum said
if one more thing happens she will get kicked out. What
should I do?

A: I would speak to your sister and see if you can persuade her to
stop taking the drugs, if not, you'd have no choice but to go your
parents. That way she has no way out of it saying "u never told me
to stop or gave me warning"
Q: My mum and dad have just gone through a bad divorce, and
my sister seems different lately. She acts more upset and more
moody lately, does this have anything to do with the divorce and
I want to help her, but how?

A: It will effect her badly yes, just talk to her, ask her to talk to you about
everything so that she takes it off her chest, and try and be there for her,
support her, and she will feel a lot better.

Q: My best friends dad recently past away due to a heart attack. At

school he tries to talk to me about it but i feel really awkward be-
cause I don't know what to say.

A: If he wants to talk to you about it, listen to him. The worst thing you can
do is turn your back on him because he needs all the support he can get at
the minute. Communication is really important and will definately help him
through this tough stage in his life.

Over the last few months we have seen fantastic new changes and new

But firstly, we sadly saw Jinxey depart this year and we wish him the
Be! best of luck for his future however, on the bright side we have seen that
Ryan has taken over as the Forum Manager and we wish him the best of
luck too with his new position.
We also had to say a big farewell to Pippa who has also decided to move on and leave HT and we
wish her all thebest in her future too. She'll still pop in by the forum of course - we can't get rid of
her that easily.
We also sadly saw Jay depart too this week and we hope he finds a new path in life.
Also this month we have seen many other people taking on new positions and our very own DJ
Sharky made a return as the manager of HTTV - welcome back to HabTips!
JessCAR has taken over the new position of the Newsletter Manager and she will be introducing the
monthly newsletter back to HabTips with the help of SummerIsHam (DJ Summer) as Assistant
Newsletter Manager and all the rest of the staff too.
Our very own DJ Duck has become the new Manager of the News Department and is hiring the staff
who are doing a fantastic jobupdating all the latest news daily. Well done Duck and all the news de-
partment staff.
We saw the start of the one and only DJ Jets' Tele Massacre Which has been a
huge success with the fans and listeners of HabTips. They have taken to it with
open arms and we hope this will stay a success at HT for a long time
to come.
We welcome DJ Kiara to HabTips too and good luck in passing
your trial. Habtips
We also welcome Ollie back after he took several weeks off due to Forum
problems of his own and we wish him the best.

Interview With G5

What is your position at Habtips?

To Be honest I am really not sure anymore. I am somewhere between owner

(M@dk@t03) and Site Manager (Razman a.k.a. Ryan). Hmmm I guess that just
makes me the Habtips checkbook.

What is your regular Habtips routine?

I log on and immediatly go to www.habtips.com . I hope that a dj is playing. Then I check the Habtips
news! While leaving that window open I go to www.habtipsforum.com to check on all the personal mes-
sages I get and have to tend to. Afterwards I scan through all the new messages in the forum and actually
read all the ones that I think may interest me or concern Habtips. Then I open my MSN messenger and am
usually bombarded with Hellos and complaints from the upper staff and the VVIPs. Then I am off to the USA
Habbo Hotel where when logged in I usually try to go around to the trade rooms and turn the lower priced
donations into treasures that the fans have come to expect during my Friday Night Par-tay!! Of course to do
this effectively I need the assistance and guidance that I get from www.habtips.com/rarevalues/ . When my
eyes start to bug out I log off only to get ready to do it all again at a later time.

Do you DJ?

I sure do. I host the Friday Night Par-tay that happens each and every Friday Night from 5pm-7pm EST
(10pm-midnight GMT).

When and what kind of DJ shows?

The Friday Night Par-tay is a high energy show to bring in the weekend after a full week of school or work.
In addition to the music I host a new game that I call "The Wheel Of Misfortune" where I get everyone
playing a game that offers a chance for some really great Prizes.

What is you favorite Habtips Memory?

That would be impossible to narrow down to just one memory. My fondness memories is all the friends that
I have made while watching them grow into fine young women and men while I stay ever eternal youthful.
Yes that is me .... G (Peter pan) 5 LOL

For Those What do you like best about Habtips?

Wondering. Much like the question above I could not possibly narrow that down to just
G5’s true age is: one. I love to have fun and that is what Habtips does best ... Have Fun!!!!
That is one of the reasons why we are "The Place To Be!!!"

Lets see, I have been at Habtips for *thinks* about 4 years or so.

What postion are you currently?

I am currently Forum & Site Manager.

Tell us about being Forum Manager

Well its not an easy job as you have to deal with a lot of problems everyday and basically all the problems
the staff have. Without Breaks of course.

Whats your favorite memory at Habtips?

My favorite memory hmm that's tough there all just as good.

Why did you chose Habtips over other sites?

Well I did go to several other sites before Habtips. Mostly the official fansites about 5 years ago
and basically it had an opportunity to get a radio job, something that I really wanted.

Have you ever Dj'ed for Habtips?

Yes I have for 2 years and was also Assistant Head DJ at one point.

If so, whats your DJ name?

My DJ name is DJ RazMan. The One and Only Of course.
