yarn
in
four
colors
(I
used
three
shades
of
purple
and
white).
I
used
a
little
over
one
ball
of
the
first
color
(dark
purple)
and
a
little
less
of
each
other
color.

pattern
uses
a
special
stitch
called
a
puff
stitch
(abbrv.
PS).

it.

Yarn
over
and
insert
your
hook
in
the
indicated
space.
Yarn
over
and
pull
up
a
large
loop,
about
the
height
of
a
double
crochet.
Yarn
over
and
insert
your
hook
and
again
pull
up
a
large
loop.
Repeat
until
you
have
pulled
up
four
large
loops
(you
should
have
nine
loops
on
your
hook).
Yarn

and
carefully
pull
hook
through
