Who are they? (mother , father, Ben, Sally, Eddie, Mary) 2. Have they got any pets (a dog and a cat) 3. Does Ben want other pets, too? (yes, he does). What pets does he want (golden hamsters) 4. Where do golden hamsters come from? (they come from the Middle East) 5. Where do golden hamsters live? (they live in grassland) 5 6. Who has got golden hamsters (Jill has got ). 7. How many hamsters does she have? (She has 2 hamsters) 8. What does the postman bring to Ben? (a parcel) 9. Is he happy about the present? (No, he isnt) 10. What does he want instead? (a plane) 11. Who sent him the scarf? (Aunt Kate) 12. Where is Aunt Kate now? (she is on holiday in France) T: OK I happen to have a list of the things she has packed. Interaction : T- Ss., Ss T. 7 T. gives each Ss handout nr. 1 (H.1.) Ss together with the T. write the names H.1. of the object on the handout and circle the odd-man-out. T. writes the words on the BB. T. introduces the new vocabulary (kettle, beach ball, sleeping bag, tent, swim suit), drills for the pronunciation, Ss listen and repeat the new words.

At the end the Ss. are asked to make a list of 5 more items they need to take with them when they go camping. Interaction : T- Ss., Ss T. T. give the Ss handout nr. 2 (H.2.). They discuss together the pictures, H.2. reinforcing the newly introduced vocabulary. T. explains that the Ss are going to listen the cassette 2 times (or more if it is necessary) and that they have to feel in the speech bubbles with the correct letter. T. plays the cassette for the 1st time and the Ss LISTEN AND LOOK. T. plays the cassette for the 2nd time and the Ss LISTEN AND MATCH the sentences to the correct picture. T. stops the cassette after each picture in order to allow the Ss to find the correct sentences Interaction : T- Ss., Ss T. Ss. open the textbooks and check the correct answers. Ss. read the lesson. T. corrects pronunciation Ss. open the textbooks at page 62. T. elicits the names of the objects at ex. 3 (kettle, camera, sofa, toothbrush, computer, sleeping bag, clock, plant, soap, fridge, swimsuit, tent) T. asks the Ss. to write all the objects in the two columns at H.2. according to their usefulness when going camping. T. monitors and asks for the results. T. writes on the BB: Do they need a kettle ? They need a kettle. They must take it with them. Do they need a sofa? They dont need a sofa. They must leave it at home. T. drills the model for a correct pronunciation. After the drilling Ss ask and answer the questions in pairs.
