Currently aligning standards and planning implementation of 1:1 for 2013. Secondary Common Core State Standards Rollout Team Planning/leading staff pd and training on implementing the new state standards. (2008) INDEPENDENT STUDY: GVSU HONORS PROJEGT (GRAND RAPIDS, MI) Created and implemented a research project on using technology to enhance and extend learning in the English classroom. Developed a social networking site at City High that recreated the learning experience through the integration of Web 2.0 technology tools (blogs, wikis, podcasts, etc). (2008) RIVERSIDE MIDDLE: ELA 7 TEACHING ASSISTANT (GRAND RAPIDS, MI) Created and implemented coursework covering 2 units of continual lead teaching (9 weeks).
